Literally my favorite restaurant in the entire world. I live in Chicago now but whenever I visit family in the Bay Area, I have to come here at least twice.
Some of my favorite dishes: stinky tofu, beef noodle soup (best I’ve ever had), pork chops, and scallion pancake. But, I don’t think I’ve ever tried anything I haven’t liked here so would recommend you try everything!

This place has been here for almost 30 years.... Looks like the 2nd generation has taken over the operations now, and they've spruced up the place a bit, and the service is still very good, with a family style feeling. The quality of the food is still very good, with Taiwanese delicacies being their specialty. The stinky tofu is one the main stars here, and it's not that authentic to a point where the smell turns off any non-Chinese customers. So definitely try it!

A little bit of a drive from sf but the food is pretty good. We went on a Saturday morning and there was about a 20min wait. Our order was taken quickly and most of the food came out fast. The egg pancake rolls took a long time but they came to apologize saying there was a backlog in the kitchen. The pork chops were my favorite!

Went to this Mom and Pop's type of restaurant with my friend who's regular there. Pretty hard to find parking spot in the area during lunch hours there especially on the weekend. Expect long wait time during lunch/dinner times because the place could be crowded cause the place is pretty small. Foods were tasteful, prices are moderate and the customer service was great! Will definitely go back when we're in the area!

I wish that you could get the rice plastic wrap things (salty sticky rice roll) in the morning for breakfast so I could take on the train. Hint hint. Like the spicy beef soup broth also. BF likes the green onion pancake. Sometimes there is a wait on weekend mornings but it's not too long. Sometimes it smells like stinky tofu.

Super authentic Taiwanese food! So impressed by the stinky tofu and egg pancake—both of which almost tasted better than the ones I get in the streets of Taiwan (tasted healthier/less oily)!! Sesame noodles were a bit bland and could have used more spice and garnish. Spicy cucumbers were fresh, crisp, and provided the perfect vinegary contrast.
