The chirashi I got was great, with a good variety. But the roll came out looking a bit messy. The space was cute though and with a decently sized group we got to sit in a separate space separated by shoji doors.
Waking in here with reservations for a party for and we're seated pretty quickly and before a lot of other guests. The reason that I gave it four stars is the service was really really bad and the place isn't kept up super well and seems a bit dirty/run down. Despite the fact that we arrived way earlier than many of the parties we seemed to be forgotten by the server. After ordering, table after table who had come in after us got their food. I am a very patient person, as are the diners I was with, but it became problematic when we saw folks who had come in before us eat and leave before we even got our food.
5 rolls and 1 order of hamachi cost is about $130.
My wife and I ordered the dragon roll, lion king roll, rainbow roll and tempura (4 shrimp pieces + veggies - zucchini, yam?, Yellow sweet potato, broccoli and green beans). For each of the rolls, we upgraded to real crab meat for an additional $3 dollars each, unfortunately, one of the rolls came with imitation crab, but the restaurant was quick to remedy the situation over email and we were extremely satisfied with their customer service. I would highly recommend coming here, they give ample portioned sizes for sushi. Thank you #FUJISUKIYAKI ! We hope you continue to stay in business!
Authentic and Delicious!
Sunday night at 630 and the Fuji Sukiyaki was busy. We were greeted by efficient wait staff who let us know we would have a 20 min wait. We were seated 20 min later but had to wait another 15 min before we were served. Once our order was taken we were treated to delicious Miso soup then we selected an assortment of rolls and sashimi. Everything was fresh, delicious, and perfectly prepared. The prices were excellent for the area and we decided we will be back soon and often.
The sushi is great, but it’s very pricy. The nigiri was way way larger than expected, twice the size of some nigiri’s in other areas. The rolls were also great, we got the pink lady, dynamite, Godzilla rolls. Miso soup also delicious.
Overall great, but felt like price was a tad high
Real authentic Japanese food. We were a big group and everything was delicious. The combo platter is a great option to try a lot of things
Their rolls are great, low on the rice portion so u can eat more of the good stuff. Value for money in the bay area
Food was good but lacking wait staff. Forgot to make one of our items. Fish was fresh. Sukiyaki was also pretty decent.
