Every morning I'm there I am always greeted with a friendly smile, great service and a fulfilling meal lol. The atmosphere is very mellow and I must say, everything on that menu is poppin! Shout out to the staff for never disappointing their customers!
They have good food and huge servings! And plus they have filipino food on the menu! 😍 So if i wanna eat rice, this is my go-to place in San Mateo
Damn good place located in san mateo...love them when ever i visit sanfran...very warm hospitable people who helps you always have a great time...wish they were a 24hrs diner...food is brilliant and huge...u could eat it 2 times if u order one portion..price is nominal...will go back soon

The best Breakfast in the world. I know what you are thinking, let me tell you if you have a chance to go to this place. Do it now and you will find yourself in love with Breakfast. I think this place should be documented in the book of resturaunts.
Modest eats for brunches and lunches. Sundays are usually the busiest and during peak times there could be a wait for a table. But, the staff is efficient and we were served right away. Food is better than other chain breakfast places. They have delicious Filipino dishes and are generous portion. The longanisa is tasty and not too sweet, which I prefer. The steaks we ordered were cooked just right. This place is worth coming back to.
I’m so glad I discovered The Pantry! Everyone who works here is so warm and nice, the food is really well-priced and tastes great, and they have outdoor seating. I love the authentic, down-to-earth atmosphere. It’s like a real family diner, not pretentious or flashy, great value, and it’s clear that everyone there is having a great time (customers and staff alike). Wonderful vibes. My food was ready so fast even though they were busy. Would give 10 stars if I could and I think this is my new favorite breakfast spot!
Cozy location with a high ceiling. Has a family run vibe that’s casual and attentive. It was busy on a Sunday but not chaotic.

The hash browns were loaded with onions, which was a first for me, and very good. Tasty and filling!
I really enjoyed their gravy. It has different meats in it and went great with the fried chicken and biscuits. Biscuits were a bit dense for me.
Not a lot of vegetarian options if you don’t eat eggs.
Huge inexpensive portions of simple fare. Clean, nice service, very casual.
Not fancy. Do not go here if you're cutting carbs or expecting something more than basic.
Adobo is life 😆 If you haven’t tried their adobo this is your chance to try it. Not very salty compared to a traditional home made adobo which I prefer. If you don’t like fatty and still want to give this a try, put it in the freezer until the fat solidifies, scoop it out, warm then serve with rice and sunny side up 😊 Wait times are looong so order ahead and pick it up later. I ordered an hour ahead and still had to wait in line (15min around 11am) to pick it up and pay for it (just to have a heads up).

What a great establishment the food portions were amazing could not finish everything got the Denver omelette my buddy got the vegetarian omelette both of us had to take food home
Been going there for about 20 yrs and have had a pleasant experience every time. You definitely get fed well for the price and they treat you like family. The waitresses and waiters are very attentive and if you like hot coffee that's a good thing.
