A small and cozy, papas and mamas type cafe. The food is good, the staff is friendly.
I had a great time to chat with the owner (I assume). She is super friendly.
The fruit cup is amazing, I’ve never seen the varieties of fruit such as banana, pineapple, green and red grapes, orange, red grapefruit, and kiwi.
The salsa tastes so fresh.
They grind the coffee beans and brew, which is impressive.
It is a hidden gem!
Friendly service and I love the old diner atmosphere. The food was top notch, definitely the best I’ve had in slo for breakfast/diner food. I liked it even more than Louise’s to be honest. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, the bacon and sausage was cooked just right and the gravy is to die for! I’m going to be going back over and over again.
Classic old school diner! Food can be a bit hit or miss, but normally, I'm just thankful for someone else to cook 😂 pancakes and waffles are great every time! (Prices did go up, fair warning)
Love coming to this little gem in town. Away from all the tourist traps. Hoping locals keep supporting this family owners establishment.
Kayla was fantastic..tuna melt was advertised but was disappointing.

This is a nice place for breakfast or brunch, and a good place to come with family. Service is friendly, and the food is very good. I recommend Joe's Special!

We Googled places to eat and this place came up. I like the menu &
pictures of food. It was a small restaurant... it that was fine with us. Our waitresse was very nice . We didn't have to wait long to be seated, order our food or get our food after we ordered. Everything looked delicious and tastes good. If were in the part of town again. Will be sure to come back again
