Great old American/Mexican food. Great staff. Small place, so plan accordingly. Not too much sitting. The prices are reasonable for San Luis Obispo. Parking area is slow and you have to look for one… but, that’s downtown!
Cute brunch , in SLO. It’s a bit small but has a good Homie feel with nice staff. First time I’ve had gluten-free pancakes in the restaurant and they were great as I am gluten-free. It’s great to have an option on the menu that was not over priced! They also cook my egg whites to order
Your typical American breakfast spot. We got there at around 10 am on a Sunday and waited 45 minutes for a table for five. If there's just two there was almost no wait time though since they seat you at the counter. A wide selection of eggs, omelets, pancakes, and everything in between from savory to sweet and a few great combo options. Waitresses were all over the place but it was a busy morning as mentioned. Pancakes were super tasty, very soft and airy as was their homemade biscuits. A good place to go for a casual breakfast that is fairly cheap in price.
Great, small diner with a pretty cozy atmosphere and very attentive staff. Nice selection of food, and not too pricey either. Definitely a good place to get some food in SLO.
Food was good. Seems like a local favorite for breakfast! I wasn't too fond of the homefries just cause the potatoes onions and green peppers were all cooked and cut unevenly. But it sounds like they're still a fan favorite so you'll probably have to try it for yourself!
Delicious food and big portions. The staff was really friendly and made you feel at home 😊.
I also really liked the homemade buttermilk biscuit!
No frills downtown eatery that offers all-American breakfast and lunch. They serve a good breakfast and offer an extensive menu. The place is small but quaint, with 4-5 booths, a counter, and an outdoor seating area. Some days' wait time is longer than others. The food resonates like being in Diner. The staff was quick and seemed to know their regulars.
A good place to grab breakfast really early. Nice service and quick food delivery. Pancakes are highly recommended.
One of our 'Must Stop' places when visiting, or just traveling through SLO. Louisa's is only open for Breakfast and lunch, and they get PACKED!
This is a local favorite and it shows.
Indoor seating is limited, but they have a counter you can sit at, if that's your thing. Or if weather permitting, you can sit out front at one of the tables. (There are only about 3 of them.)
We usually just wait for an indoor table. Wait times will vary by how busy they are. We've waited up to an hour before getting in for a table. So get there EARLY!
The staff is always friendly and attentive. Prices are good and they don't skimp on portion size.
Had a lovely morning breakfast. Got an unordinary omelette that was delicious with ham, pineapple, cheese, sour cream and idk what else forgot the name of the item. On the side I upgraded my biscuit by adding gravy. Even the side of cottage cheese was heavenly. The staff was friendly and attentive. Overall recommend if you are ever in the area !! They even have the option to color. What fun 😁
