Calvin's World Famous Cheesesteaks

This place is always busy (which it should be) due to its delicious food and a lively theme. Thankfully, the workers are really efficient and tends to request quickly. Our waiter Brian was handling multiple tables and was still able to service us exceptionally, I was truly impressed how he managed everything. Would hope to see him and other workers like him anytime we visit.

Went here for breakfast after our flight from Seattle on a Friday morning. Just in town for the weekend to visit friends. Had the churro waffle and it was delicious, crispy outside with the crispy cinnamon/sugar coating and soft center...with strawberries, caramel and whipped cream. If you are a fan of churros you should definitely try. I am going to go back again before we leave to have another...I wish my kids were with us to enjoy this, we all love cinnamon. Also had the carnitas skillet that was full of flavor and the hot sauce was nice and spicy with good flavor. Good Mexican coffee. We were super happy to have eaten here for breakfast, highly recommend, hit the spot. Service was fast and staff was very friendly.

I'm surprised no one posted pics of the amazing artwork that is on every wall of this awesome restaurant! Food was great, recommended by a local and with good reason. We asked for a Mexican food place with both good food and good drinks. 5 stars!! The cool portraits of Mexican icons was a surprise and huge bonus. The artist is Artesluna ig.artesluna_ We went to the one in Santa Clara but there are two others, one in Campbell and on west San Carlos. Same artist has murals there too and I can't wait to see them myself.

I really enjoyed the chicken tostadas, thry were loaded. We also ordered the birria tacos, and they were delicious as well. To drink, I ordered the cucumber and kiwi Agua Fresca, and it was surprisingly tasty and refreshing. I can see how this place would be extremely busy and loud on a weekend. Parking is free in the shopping center, but it can be a nuisance if you go when the area is busy.

Some of the best Mexican food I've had... Like ever in my life. Seriously. Do not sleep on this place. You can taste the roasted peppers in the salsa (which is why we took some home) !
