Was looking for a breakfast place on Christmas Day. This one was the only one I could find on short notice and I’m glad I did. Went here with a few buddies and I’ll be coming back over and over again. The menu is pretty unique with banh mi, Vietnamese coffee at what looks like an American diner. The service was quick and attentive. This place was very spacious and they sell their own coffee beans! I got the chicken and waffles and let me tell you, I’m still thinking about it a day later. Didn’t want to be a fatty and come again today to get some more. The waffle was crispy, the fruits were fresh, and the chicken… the chicken was the perfect compliment to this dish. It was light and flavorful. The texture of it was perfect and it wasn’t dry at all. I will either try to make this at home or fail miserably and drive myself here for the same dish. Give it a try you won’t regret it, I promise you that.
Great spot for breakfast or lunch. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. The staff was friendly and was a great place to take the family or just have a coffee and relax.

Java coffee shop in San Jose is hands down one of my favorite coffee spots! They consistently brew some of the best coffee in town, and their breakfast menu is a true delight. The pancakes, waffles, and chicken dishes are incredibly delicious - a perfect combination of sweet and savory. What sets this place apart, besides the fantastic food and coffee, is their incredibly friendly staff. The warm and welcoming atmosphere they create makes every visit a joy. If you're in San Jose and crave great coffee and breakfast, don't miss out on this gem of a coffee shop!"
Besides the fact that it was really hot inside the restaurant the meal was amazing, service fantastic and staff friendly and accommodating. I had the chicken panini and fries. Delicious!! Freshly made bread, melted cheese, sun dried tomatoes and chicken. Yum!!! I left off the pesto #allergygirl can’t have it .
First time here in summer 2023 and the food is so amazing. It’s all halal meat and recommended the short rib burrito bowls.
Please note that Chilaquiles is very spicy but delicious.
I tried a bunch of items from the menu, only two things made it to the photo shoot. The shrimp and crab melt with a side of fries was amazing and filling too. The Vietnamese coffee was on point and as strong as one would expect it to be. Had the Swiss Melt (burger with mushroom on it) and also the brisket burrito. All I can say is count me in as one of the neighborhood customer as I plan to come back frequently. Oh and the ambiance during Sunday breakfast/brunch hours was amazing.
Alrighty honest review time, so we came here after hearing about this halal (Zabihah)breakfast location.
As soon as enter we were greeted and it was not that busy and we were seated promptly outside. The menu was quite extensive and had a variety
Of options, we placed our orders and within about 15min or so the food came which was quite surprising. I would recommend that next time have the coffee come first and then the food after.
We got the omelette , scrambled chorizo eggs, and the croissant sandwich with pour over coffee and Mexican mocha and pomogranite juice.
The pour over coffee was really good we got medium brew and the cups were large. The pomogranite juice was quite crisp, it tastes like that POM brand of juice that you find at Safeway or Costco but chilled. The omelette was quite fluffy and very large (the inside was a little bit uncooked or not sure if supposed to be a bit soft and mushy).
My friends croissant sandwich was good he said, his Mexican mocha had an aftertaste that was cinnamon like and a bit strong. The scrambled eggs were good and no complaints.
I would recommend though to lower the music inside (or remove) so that people can have their conversations as well.
Overall a good place to support since it has a halal breakfast options. It’s like the halal version of home country inn restaurant.
Will def come back
Convince place to have breakfast. That was my experience.
Went with a really good friend of mine. We were very hungry and craving for coffee on a Sunday morning.
Somehow our order was misplaced and we had to wait longer for our food to arrive.
The coffee was ok. Just average.
The service was nice and the service did her best to make us feel comfortable. However, she made a comment that made my friend feel uncomfortable.
There is plenty of parking, so you shouldn't have an issue finding one.
A place you have just discovered with our friends..Everything was delicious and halal. The employees are very polite and friendly, there is also no parking problem.. I highly recommend it.
The staff us super friendly and helpful. They are very passionate about what they are trying to do here. I got a cappuccino and it was pretty good. I would caution against ordering the chicken and waffles. While not terrible the chicken was a bit over cooked and bland while the waffle was a bit undercooked and soggy.
I'm guessing their talents rely more on the fresher food ingredients although I have not tried it. I will probably go again to give them a second chance based solely off of the waitstaff.
