I have gone to Pho Hoa chain off and on for nearly 20 years. Having a hiatus for the last three years or so due to covid I was looking forward to going back.
The good news was my food was pretty good. I pretty much get beef pho (#1); it was unchanged as I recall except the price was a lot more than I think I've paid in the past, nearly $14.
My wife and kids were generally happy with what they got although they were not overly excited for the pop corn chicken, and the chicken in the chicken and rice plate they said it was too dry.
They liked the original Thai Boba. Overall our bill came to nearly $100 for five meals and three drinks ... I don't recall it being as expensive as this in the past.
I will go back as I do like the Pho here. Just be aware on the pricing.
P.s just to add that their rewards program is pretty good. Over 2023 we’ve definitely been going fairly often… recommend!
My mom and I got the duck pho and Vietnamese iced coffee which was all delicious. The food was a little expensive but not outrageous for the Bay Area.
Taste is good. Service is nice. Not cheap for the portion. My favorite is the spicy pho. Rice dishes are good too.
We were seated right away and service is great and quick. 3 sizes of noodles and we ordered Regular (middle size) and portion was just right for us. Restaurant also has jazen tea and ice cream on the side.
I have been going to this same location for over 10 years. I have noticed since the change in ownership the quality of the broth has definitely improved. Less oily, more flavor, and clean tasting. I have tasted some better and "more" authentic vietnamese pho, but this one is pretty good and is near my home.
Good place for quick pho fix. The food was hot and fast. Nice bright atmosphere.
A good alternative to other Taiwanese tea places. Jazen has unique flavors, and the add real bits of fruit like lychee on top of your other toppings. Our favourites are lychee green tea with aloe Vera and taro milk tea with honey Bob's (yum!). The popcorn chicken is also delicious. There is an attached pho place, a bonus if you are hungry.
The seafood soup is so GOOD! I eat it on hot days. Restaurant is very clean and big. Nice beverage selection also.
Found this place from google map. Only saw the google 4 stars review thankfully if I saw the yelp 2 stars (due to unfriendly service) I won’t be stopping by. We only tried the large portion pho (the bowl was so big). It was tasty. Will be stopping by again in the near future
