Nice outdoor seating area setup, plenty of parking around the area. Very friendly staff and owner. Took a bit of time to get my order but worth the wait. Grabbed the Gobble Up burger with tater tots. Burger infused and mixed with apricots and spices made it a delicious, juicy bite. Cooked well-done. Tater tots were nice and crisp, tightly packed to the brim in the box.

Their burger was very good, it came with 3 onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, cheese, lettuce & tomato, they placed the lettuce & tomatoes in a separate container, to put on myself, their chips ( fries) were salted just enough, had previously given 4 ⭐'s that rating has jumped to a full 5 ⭐review, now it might've become lower, had Rookie's been like how most places are when error made, some may say it's U'r fault 4 not checking b4 U left, on my last trip there a few days ago, an item was forgotten off my order, as I'd no way 2 get back that X 2 have it fixed, I messaged & they not only apologized 4 getting order incorrect, but promised that next X I came in the Burger would be on the house, not only did they honour their word in that, but went above and comped me a Coke whilst awaiting order & another one to go with my burger, so shout out 2 Rookies, they done good, thanx guys

Picked this place since there was a long wait in 'original gravity' across the road. This place was not crowded but looked like a good sports bar. Had couple of beers and their traditional wings was really good( less quantity though). Overall a good sports bar to hangout.

Rookies, previously Billie Burks, is a bit of a step up. They have an excellent tomahawk steak! Was surprised to see this at a sports bar. Staff was super nice and helpful and screens were easy to view. Had a real good time here and food was darn good

If you want to enjoy some decent bar food and as much cold beer as you can handle while watching the game, Rookies is the place for you. They serve traditional bar/pub foods which are decent. Lots of selection but really what you come here for is the atmosphere. Hang out with buddies and tip back a few cold ones and enjoy the game!

Had so much fun watching Nate Diaz completely destroy his opponent! The food is amazing and the drinks are so good and im pretty sure the added a little extra tequila on both my drinks! I'm definitely coming back and everyone should at least come here once..

I want to give 5 stars because it's just such a great spot. Inside/ outside seating,lots of big tvs, hrheat beer list, great crowd, beautiful atrium style atmosphere, really fun place to watch the games! Except.... they need more staff during big sports games, and the food wasn't good

Probably the best place to watch a sporting event in San Jose. We were watching Giants opening day baseball. The bar service was great. Very nice staff. Clean Resturant. And very clean bathrooms. They have a great outdoor paitio and Vip room for private parties. Much better than Gordon Biersch.

Was told to produce my ID on three separate occasions. I already gave proof of age as I sat down to get a drink. Already had an empty glass in front of me by the second time I was carded. The manager came out to card me on the third time. Calmy explained to a waitress by the name of Katie, that as a customer, my integrity was being questioned. The suggestions were completely unbecoming. Don't go here, go somewhere else

We watched the Sharks game here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The manager even got up and cleaned off the tv for us because it was difficult to see puck movement on the white ice. I would totally come here again. They also have a happy hour but we arrived after so I can't say as to what is offered. The nachos we had came in a very large portion and tasty.

The staff was hustling and trying there best but they need help for major sporting events. I will say it was yesterday for the NFL playoffs and it was crowded but they should hire one more server at least for major sporting events. Lots of TVs and the food was delicious but the wait time for service was ridiculous. They were trying really hard but it was obvious they all were overwhelmed. I will go back for sure but not for any Major Sporting Events.
