I like this place, Is hard to find an authentic Honduran restaurant here in San Jose, but this one is really good, also the Service is Incredible; the only thing I didn’t like this time was the Chuleta Sampedrana, I have ordered it before but this time the sauce was different, still good but I prefer the other way they used to make it.
The most authentic and delicious latin food I have enjoyed in the area, they have Mexican, Saldadorean, Honduran food, I’m willing to spend my millions in this place. Their service is also great, 5 stars well deserved.
So delicious I started eating before remembering to take a picture. I called in a takeout order September 2020 (so we were under shelter restrictions) and was pleased with the portion size and time until the order was ready.
If my picture shows, this is a chicken tamale with rice and beans. The rice was super delicious! Unlike at other places, the rice here was a star in its own right. I was glad I got talked into making this a combo.
This place hands down has the best flour tortillas you can find. Tonight I had the fried fish and plantain chips. It was really good with the red sauce. I usually get the seafood soup which is always very fresh. Also make sure you come hungry the portions are huge. But they take a while to make your food so many grab a slim jim at the liquor store next door?
Ya, it's the bomb. Only regret is not ordering the fried chicken after seeing so many of those plates come out.
This place is absolutely amazing! a real trip to a Central American's gourmet.
Family owned with a great atmosphere, they have the best friend chicken with green plantains! fresh homemade tortillas(corn and flour), I also recommend the Baleadas and sopa de mariscos!.
Definitely a must place to visit if you're near SJ.
Delicious food, and excellent, friendly service. I loved the pupusas, and my family enjoyed all their food. It's a small restaurant but they have several tables, and it feels very clean.
Favorite breakfast in San Jose area. Pricey but excellent.
I have only gone to this place once, and I'm not familiar with this kind of food, but the 'pescado frito' is delicious. A nice crunch and a generous portion of limes are given. The fried plantains were a unique side item I have not seen before in any restaurant I'd been to.
I intend to go here again if I ever go back to San Jose.
nice little spot with tasty food and homey vibes! cool honduran authentic dishes but also options for less adventurous eaters too. great service at super reasonable prices. not that many tables but my friend and i managed to get seated right away on a friday night!
