Black Sheep Brasserie - San Jose - Photo album

Favorites: Duck Breast and Buttermilk beignet. It is an upscale restaurant but not too fancy or pricy. Food is delicious there.
Great restaurant with chill vibes, spacious interiors and a nice outdoor patio. The wine selection is good and the food is excellent. Don’t skip the panna cotta as dessert 🍮
Delicious meal that is upscale but still reasonably priced considering the quantity and quality of food you're getting. Ordered a smattering of dishes from snails, oysters, cheese plate for appetizers. Each one was very light delicate, not large portion size but still filling and very flavorful. Th
Black Sheep Brasserie is a fancy looking restaurant that is still dressed up but not beyond fancy for a dinner out. The location has parking spots reserved for visitors right to the East of the building, so no need to park farther away. It is only an 8 minute drive from downtown San Jose. We thought
Delicious food. Vegetarian friendly options available. Good portions for their small plates. Had the grilled mushroom entree, mussels and gnocchi small plates and the bread pudding for dessert that you see in the pictures. We both left very full. Service was great. The only thing is the outside amb
The food here is excellent. The duck breast was well prepared. I noticed however that the waiters were in a rush to take the plates away while we were eating. So we had to ask them twice not to take the food. For such a nice restaurant it is a given that you would like to enjoy your evening and ther
There were so many delicious options on the menu that we decided to try a little of everything and skip the entrees. Everything was delicious and would recommend. Only critique is that the beer tartare needed a little more salt to balance the richness of the double egg. Our server was also very atte
Went there for a birthday dinner. Service and staff was very good, attentive and not intrusive. For drinks got the French 75 and the Japanese cocktail - they both were excellent. Ordered the Manresa baguette and potatoes for appetizers. The baguette was just $4 - wow, basically no markup!! It was ex
We got steak, duck breast, cod and mushrooms for entrees. Have to be honest, the mushrooms dish is our favorite. Duck breast is also very delicious. The steak and cod are good but not impressive. Very cool vibe, family friendly.
Food here is tasty, yummy cocktails, and service was great. I only gave 4 stars as the Summer melon salad was basically an overpriced fruit salad of cantaloupe and honey dew melons. The plates are tasty but very small portions. I had the lamb which was cooked to perfection and so flavorful. The brea
the service here was one of the best experiences I had. The waiters were very thoughtful of freezing and cutting the cake I bought.
I came with my friend based on his recommendation. First, off the restaurant's ambience is very nice. It wasn't too loud and felt cozy. We had a reservation and it didn't take long to get our table. I had the beef tartare, charcuterie platter, grilled ribs, French onion soup, sautéed mushrooms, loa
Rustic French inspired cuisine restaurant tucked away in a quaint corner of San Jose (Willow Glen). Arrived after 8pm and there was still quite a wait, but luckily a couple of spots opened up at the bar. Others were not so fortunate. Recommendation: get reservations. This place drips of quality
This is an American brasserie with a well designed menu with nice side dishes, soups and salads. They were out of lamb meat due to too high cost of procuring them. We had the BBQ ribs to share and Hokkaido scallops and grilled vegetables as main course. Service is excellent and the quality of food w
Lively, personable, and enjoyable French Restaurant with great craft-cocktails, robust wine list, and great small and large plates. The Lincoln Avenue (cocktail), Butter Salad, Norwegian Halibut, and Bread Pudding were all excellent. A bit on the pricier side, but worth it! Edit: Second visit just
Wonderful place for a date night. The drink I had was so good (French 75). Not by choice I'm glutenfree (not too many options) but they were very accommodating. I had potatoes, sautéed mushrooms and the risotto. Everything was delicious!
