Review Maggiano's Little Italy - San Jose

The food here is really good and I loved the atmosphere. If you're looking for good Italian food, I definitely recommend Maggiano's. They don't tell you (or at least didn't tell us at first), but the holiday menu they have right now is only for if you have four or more people.

We came from date night dinner on a Thursday. It's fairly popular so the wait was like 40 mins. The decor of the inside is quite nice and classic. Service is a little slow, but always nice. Food is from scratch made to order and generally quite good. It's not the most creative, more comforting than inspiring. Also not cheap, but portions are fairly generous, so you aren't gunna leave hungry. Imo, the best meals are the family style multi course meals where you try an array of dishes with as much as you want.

Family style dinner really worth the price! Unlimited supply of 2 salads + 2 appetizers + 4 entrees + dessert = $41. Plus good taste, hard to give low score! Recommended for team building event!

We love the ambience and atmosphere here. The server was very friendly and patient. I absolutely love their pasta and fried squid! They also have outdoor area, but I personally prefer indoor dining experience!

Great ambience, good food. I haven’t explored the full menu yet, but I loved their four-cheese ravioli. Also, they have an offer to order the same entree as takeout at one third price. I would recommend making a reservation before going on a busy day. They serve fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar before the meal. That bread dip could have been better, but I can't complain as it’s complimentary.

We went here in September to celebrate my kid’s birthday. It was really special. The wait staff were so friendly and everyone gathered and sang birthday song. My kid had so much fun. The food was amazing too!!

I wish there is an outstanding option to click for the reviews because that’s the best word to describe our experience from our recent event. My husband and I are very much a regular customers in maggiano’s. It’s the first time that we hosted an event there and it was phenomenal!! It was way more than we expected it to be. From the friendly staff and hostess who gave us all a warm welcome to the excellent team of servers (shout out to REUBEN and Jakie? I forgot her name but it starts with a J) who took good care of us (especially me) the whole entire time, making sure that I eat and drink while I’m busy entertaining my guests… THANK YOU!! You guys are amazing and Maggiano’s is very lucky to have such an excellent employees like you guys. You don’t usually get to have this kind of first class service anywhere anymore but maggiano’s staff nailed it. Btw, the food- chef’s kiss!!! It was delicious!! My guests kept complementing everything the whole entire event! I don’t usually write a review. That means to say, I really appreciate you guys! It was such a successful event that I booked another one for next month!!

Omg, first time here, celebrating a 10 year anniversary and the experience was amazing! Parker was our server and she was so amazing. Super energetic and fun personality! She made us feel super special on such a special day! The Chef himself greeted us with a complimentary balsamic bruschetta (and it was to die for!) The food was phenomenal , the staff was just amazing and the atmosphere was very welcoming and diversified. Will definitely come back! 100/10!

My 1st time dining here, theres a private party, so we had to sit outside. However, that didn't ruin the experience. Food was amazing! Ambience was still very good. I'll definitely be back! Superb service!

Great atmosphere, seasoned, tasty food, good seating arrangement being on the high-table to make it a fanciful, intimate atmosphere. My wife and I celebrated our one-year wedding anniversary here and was treated to a sweet surprise at the end. Located in Santana Row, it's best to park in a nearby garage and walk over. Our server did an excellent job making sure our food was ready in a timely manner, and we were able to sample wine.

Had a bday celebration there. The food was okay. It wasn't bad at all, just a little too pricey. Customer service from the front desk was very nice and approachable

My niece wanted to take me out and oh was I so pleased that she picked this place. She said it was one of her favorites and I couldn't agree more after my experience there last night. Wait wasn't too long, host's were very nice and hospitable. We probably waited for 20 minutes for an outside seat which was the shorter wait but when we reached our table it was a lovely corner table inside. Server was professional, efficient and very hospitable as well considering a few minutes after we had just been seated, I accidentally knocked my cup of water over (never happens to me) so I was embarrassed and disappointed with myself considering we had only just been seated. The server fixed the situation promptly, he made no fuss and was absolutely professional about it, so gratzi ❤️. Food was delicious all around. Never waited too long for anything, it was a very enjoyable evening, along with a few cocktails I had 😋. Bring your friends and family, we look forward to visiting again soon.

really fancy restaurant . Not sure if it was the time we went but it was super busy, wait time was about a hour they texted us saying our table was ready when we still had to wait another 15 or so minutes. Service was very good though and food was quick and good though it was definitely a full house. friendly servers and managers

I took my roommate for a Birthday dinner. We arrived early so at the beginning we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was beyond attentive and so sweet. The food was delicious. We will definitely return soon. We had the Beef Medallions 😋😋😋

We went for one of my friends milestone birthdays - we had this incredible waitress named Andi! From the minute she became our waitress, she was sweet, kind, trying to be incredibly helpful (it was a bit difficult with our group since we all had different dietary restrictions). She had the best recommendations and was the sweetest person ever! Her kindness was so appreciated and she really made us have a good time - she was patient, she was so good at explaining each dish! We loved you so much Andi!! If you have a chance to go try to get Andi as your waitress!! Also we were so lucky that they even brought the chef out to accommodate our different dietary restrictions and he was also so incredibly kind.

Friends told me that this is a chained restaurant from east coast, by the time we're seated, so was not expecting too much about this place. But when I had the first bite of their Italian meatballs, I was totally amazed by the flavours blended in the meatballs, meanwhile, the meatballs are somehow chewy in the way it contains gravy ! We also ordered lasagna, ravioli, and spicy tomato 🍅 pasta, ALL taste SO WELL, that you can totally taste the layers of spices. As a chained restaurant, Maggiano's is no doubt a five-star.

Maggiano’s is an excellent Italian restaurant that I recently visited for dinner, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cozy and inviting atmosphere, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. The decor was tasteful, with a rustic charm that added to the overall ambiance👌🏻 The menu offered a wide variety of Italian dishes, from classic pasta dishes to seafood and meat entrees. I decided to start with the stuffed mushroom, which was deliciously fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I opted for the chicken piccata and it was absolutely delicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy. The service was also exceptional. Our server was friendly 😊😊and attentive, providing us with recommendations and ensuring that our drinks were never empty. The restaurant was fairly busy, but we never felt rushed or ignored. Overall, I would highly recommend pomegranate martini cocktails for. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the service is exceptional. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future! Thank you

4.5 stars. Excellent service by Julian & D. We had Family style 15 people. Caesar & Italian salads. Garlic bread was tasty along with the the calamari fritters. Luv the small squid with tentacles. Entree’s were Fettuccine Alfredo, heavy and filling. In addition chicken parmigiana and chicken piccata my favorite along with herbs Salmon with fresh sautéed spinach. Topped off with an assortment of little Italys dessert. I liked the ending part with yummy desserts. As always, post wherever you end up with family. Happy Bday mum.================================== Another visit on Dec 2023. Family style long time friends. Luved the dishes ordered. Thanks you two for ordering for all. Sea bass cooked to perfection along with the beef medallions. The sauce was just heaven. I also enjoyed the linguine with clams and mussel . In addition, we had the chicken parmesan and was okay. For appetizers the salad were good to have and balanced the dishes to what was to come. Calamari was crunchy and good. I am glad they had the tentacles with them. Just loved them. Dont forget the desserts, a sample of everything. I actually enjoyed the warm puff pastry and the cheescake . The next time with relatives, I am going to order the same dishes. We were celebrating a parents' anniversary and also a birthday. We had the family menu and were surprised by the amount of food we got. The spaghetti and meatballs were kids' favorite. Fried zucchini was good. Fried calamari was smaller than expected. Must get garlic bread 😍.
