San Buena Taco Truck

While on a search for a breakfast burrito in downtown San Francisco, I came across a food cart with three confused people milling about in front of it. A woman inside the cart leaned out while trying to explain to them that the only way to get food from it was to order online. A couple of them were good sports and fumbled around on their phones a bit trying to figure out how to get a burrito. It seemed to be taking longer for them to figure out the app than it would have taken to place and produce the order. I remember my dad once taught me that you should never put any obstacles between your product and people’s money. I found it odd that this cart was producing food but wouldn’t allow people to purchase it without using an online app. I, along with the other hungry customers, eventually left without food and the cart without four sales.

Pretty much meh. I walk past this taco truck fairly regularly and had been wanting to try it. I got a couple of street tacos, carne asada and chicken asada. I was sadly underwhelmed. For my first time I tried the mild salsa which was pretty flavorless. All of it was pretty flavorless but at least it wasn't a bunch of gristle. There's always a line (which does move pretty quickly), so many people love it. I just didn't find it worth the bother. I won't be back.
