These guys have amazing burgers (although I have to admit that my favorite is In-N-Out). I've eaten at this location and it's well run and clean. Be careful though - they can be juicy...which I didn't realize until it was too late. Luckily, someone invented the washer and dryer. Definitely worth doing to this location if you're shopping or you work nearby.

We ordered a single and a double burger. There's Only bun and patty. No vegetable! I am not sure why they did this for us.

Single burger with an egg. It tastes good but is kind of expensive for what you get. i do understand that they give you quality ingredients so that must be why. The place is clean and have a friendly staff.

My cheeseburger was pretty decent and very fresh. Chili cheese fries were good.

Like a higher end in-n-out burger, solid and tasty. I can't say it's the best burger I've had but it's not close to the worst. Friendly staff and if you are in this part of the bay and in this part of the city craving a burger then shoot your shot at Calibur.

Finally got around to trying Calibur and was not disappointed! Looking over the menu board, the offering is simple and classic. But fair warning, watch the price of additions or your burger will get real expensive, real fast with some toppings going for $1.50 (bacon and avocado, I understand...but it's a tad steep for an egg and extremely steep for mushrooms, in my opinion). I ended up ordering a single patty burger with blue cheese. For toppings, I opted for lettuce, tomato, pickles, and carmelized onions. I also chose calibur sauce as spread. My brother opted for a double patty with american cheese with the same toppings and sauce as me. We also added some calibur fries and a fountain drink. Total with tip was just over $27. Upon delivery, my burger was stacked perfectly - instaworthy for sure, if that's your thing. And on first bite, you'll be certain its no fast food burger. You can clearly taste each ingredient from the calibur sauce (Calibur's secret sauce is like thousand island with a mustardy undertone) through to the housemade ketchup (very tomato-y - like a pizza sauce). The burger itself was very juicy so make sure you keep your fingers tucked around the wrapping and keep it over the table/tray. My addition of blue cheese was pretty good, but did not come close to meeting my black and blue expectations - I think the blue cheese just wasn't funky enough. The calibur fries can be compared to In-n-Out's animal fries without the cheese. Just like the burger, the quality of ingredients is very evident. The sauce coated the fries nicely and was topped generously with perfectly carmelized onions. To wash it all down, we opted for cream soda from the fountain. Calibur sources their soda from Alameda Point Craft Soda Co - awesome! If you haven't had their soda before, you definitely should! They have some really awesome flavors (but it won't be until 2019 when you can find them bottled).

I ordered from Uber eats and when I got my food it was absolutely horrendous. My burger was raw and cold inside. My French fries were not fresh, it seems like they just warmed it up in the microwave after days of it sitting out. Very disgusting. I ate 2 bites of the burger before noticing it wasn’t cooked and didn’t feel well afterward. I’d recommend Burger King or Mc Donald’s for a burger rather than this pitiful establishment.

So the pictures may be pretty but there's more to once you peel the onion back. They kinda nickel and dime for everything and the food is just aight. Overall I like the burger but it is kinda bready. You know what I'm talking about when there is too much bread for the amount of meat to veggies. The chili cheese fries were pretty good but we really went there for the burger. I've had this place a few times and it is what it is, maybe that's why they are in the West Portal.
