Nice new restaurant that's a few months old. Food is mostly sushi and rolls but they have some innovative additional dishes. The fish seem fresh and they have a pretty good variety of sushi and rolls. Pricing mid range. Service good and the ambiance is nice. Location is right in the middle of the Mission.

Pretty good spot! I had the tonkatsu ramen and tried the kake udon. The ramen was an interesting take since they added some red ginger. Overall it tasted great and hit the spot the pork was served generously and was wonderfully juicy and tender!
The udon was amazing and the seafood was generous!
Service was quick and attentive and it is well worth it to visit during happy hour since the large Japanese beers were only $3.50. overall the price the pricing was fair for SF prices

I became a V16 loyal client since their opening. You'll find me here every week trying new rolls. Their specials like the wagyu roll and king of jungle are fantastic!

The food is delicious! And high level of service as well. If you didn't find what you want in the menu ask a waiter and he will manage it :)
A casual atmosphere will make your time here smooth and relaxing. I will definitely come again, there is so much to try!

Their "Top Secret" sushi (spicy tuna over a bed of crispy seasoned rice) was the best sushi I've ever had in my life.
It's not on their main menu, so be sure to ask for it -- such a simple construction, but so flavorful and delicious.
Everything else we ordered was of course great as well.

The service is attentive. The Catch of the Day menu always has something unusual to try and the sushi chefs are very knowledgeable about everything they prepare. Also, the salmon skin salad is worth your while. V16 is a little over exuberant with their prices, but it's consistently excellent. And that counts for a lot when you are craving shrimp sashimi with the deep fried heads, eyes still bulging in disbelief.
