Obsessed with their sandwiches - itās becoming a weekend ritual! When I feel like treating myself I get The Horse on the Roof and I also love their green salads! Great for grab and go but they have inside seating as well.

Been here twice. I find the BEC sandwich to be a little too big with too much bun. One time I got it with avo and the avocados were slightly brown (a pet peeve though). The hot sauces are delicious. NYC transplant here. Newkirks is officially the best BEC Iāve had in SF and honestly itās better than an average NYC bodega. Just missing salt pepper ketchup! This scratches my breakfast sandwich itch every time.
Had a roast beef special. Quality sandwich. Good, flavorful bread, tasty and balanced filling, horseradish forward. House-made hot sauces were complex enough and complemented the sandwich well. Decor is clean and simple while still being inviting and the service was friendly.
