Came here for brunch with friends. The food was amazing and the spot was a lot of fun. Try the charcoal pancakes and french toast. The Thai tea was on point!
Definitely recommend.
Came here for brunch after a doctor's appointment. It wasn't too bad of a wait, but it's super small inside. I would not recommend this place for big groups!! We were seated upstairs with a view of the kitchen downstairs.
We ordered the crab scramble and nun omelette with sausage (came on the side) and a guava cocktail. I thought the dishes were a bit pricey until the HUGE plates came out. We both loved our dishes and super impressed with the quality of food. The cocktail was cute, but was pretty small. It was a bit difficult getting our waiter, as there was only one worker and she would only come up sometimes (but the stairs look like they're killer). It took a long time for us to get refills on water/coffee.
The food here is great and it's a nice and quaint place for brunch. The dishes are unique and I would love to try this place again.
I got the monkey French toast while my boyfriend got the chicken and charcoal waffles. This is by far the best brunch joint I’ve been to. My French toast was super moist and tasty and flavorful and all the good stuff you want from a French toast breakfast. I tried the fried chicken and it was very flavorful. They added rosemary and thyme or some other seasoning to the inside and my boyfriend, who grew up in Texas, says it’s the best chicken and waffles he’s had. The charcoal waffles tasted just like normal waffles and I wish they had a non charcoal option. 10/10 would recommend.
Everything tasted great & the service was fast. The yogurt that comes with the combo plates is amazingly delicious! They were very generous with the amount of seafood in both the shrimp and crab omelettes. The guava mimosas were delicious, too! & the prices were very reasonable, considering it's SF... We'll definitely be back :)
We got the avocado rolls, dark knight, and kao soy. It was so delicious and very reasonably priced!!! The service was a little slow (there was only one man working the cash register and dinner service the night we went??? He was mixing drinks like a boss but we waited a long while for the check until we finally went to get it ourselves at the front). But overall the food came quickly enough and was extremely flavorful. An interesting and non traditional thai fusion place.
Beautiful, quaint unknown brunch spot - which is a rare gem in SF because you don't have to deal with the brunch line here.
Everything I tried in the menu taste good. Like. So difficult to fault this place. But of course I have favorites.
Pros:
- short wait time, quick service
- cozy spot
- great food
- great spot for your #instafamous photos, and not crazy expensive
Cons:
- hard to find parking
- small space...so difficult to fit a party of 10+ people
Must try:
- Rainbow toast: it's actually savory, yummy goodness, and totally worth the hype
- Fried avocado
- Pork Belly and Grit
Seriously, it was so good. Due to social distancing, I tried Me & Tasty with Ubereats. The food was amazing, packing was amazing. Portion was amazing, taste was so nice. Visual presentation, which I did not expect with packed delivered food, was even amazing it made my appetite go higher. Thank you for all staffs for quality food and making someone's day great with amazing meal. Stay safe! <3
