Fantastic experience!!! Beautiful restaurant with wonderful food, service and wine list. Aaron was incredibly welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. The staff are all warm and welcoming, even though we came in right when they were closing! The food was delivered quickly and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend the mussels - probably best mussels I’ve ever had no joke! Also the Sea Bass, ribs, coconut rice, roti, and seafood curry were beautifully cooked. As mission residents, we can’t wait to come back!
Fantastic meal, totally worth the visit. The mussels are an absolute must. The green sauce (ask for it) gives a slight heat to the roti that is incredibly flavorful. The peppers tasted like they were picked this afternoon.
Excellent service and staff experience as well.
The food at Indo was exceptional. I had the beef rendang (which was flavorful and perfectly tender), my friend had the duck, and we shared a medium coconut rice. Everything was delicious, had, just the right amount of spice, and was packed with subtle flavors.
Friendly, attentive service. Quiet atmosphere. Interesting mix of dishes. Some sauces are a little sweet, but I’ve only been twice and am still getting to know their menu. Like spice? Ask for their homemade heat.
Wonderful restaurant. We were the first people in when we went which always makes us nervous but so glad we did. The food wasn't overly Indonesian however it was wonderful and I would definitely return.
Indo is more of a fusion restaurant than pure Indonesian. The ambiance is very nice and classy in a modern way.
I went with a group of five and we ordered the green bean sambal, chicken curry, green (seriously like highlighter green!!!) seafood curry, Balado short rib, spicy basil chicken, and nasi goreng.
Everything was fantastic, but I thought the highlights were the balado short rib, green seafood curry, and green beans. Service was great, although I found the drinks to be very pricey. Would definitely return, but get drinks elsewhere.
We came here to celebrate my brother's closing of his home at his suggestion. The owner brought out champagne flutes. So unexpected (my brother was on anti-biotics) but very much appreciated!
The first item to come out was the Roti Prata. Even though we had food left over, the kids insisted at the end of the meal before dessert to have another Roti Prata. We love to share food so we can try everything. The server brought out share plates and was very attentive throughout the meal. The Lamb Korma melted off the bone with a rich sauce. The Balado Short Rib was no different easily fork separating. The Pan Seared Sea Bass had mushrooms galore... and my family loves mushrooms. My husband primarily indulged in the Seafood Green Curry due to family food allergies, but my bites of calamari and eggplant were heavenly. We shared everything over brown rice or coconut rice.
On to dessert... Everything we ordered except the Mango Pudding was unique. Additionally, we shared Mung Bean Pudding topped with a Caramelized Banana and Chocolate Ginger Cake with Ice Cream. The presentation was beautiful. My daughter stated the cake was really gingery. I told her that is what people were looking for... My daughter of course snagged the banana.
I feel bad for the people outside the restaurant considering to eat there if they didn't. This restaurant was definitely a true find. Was told they have another location down the Peninsula... will definitely be patronizing both locations.
