Taqueria El Farolito

The food here is pretty good and affordable. They have large portions so you get a lot for your money. The house-made chips are delicious - I can eat them even without the salsa. The burrito is yummy and filling. I've heard the soups are good too, but haven't tried them. Plenty of seating and a good lunch spot in the area. Friendly service.

I forever love El Farolito. I didn't know it was a chain, but I was working in my company's SF office when I really wanted it. So, I looked it up and found out this one does delivery to my office area! Of course, I got it and it was delicious. I ordered the super burrito with half carne half shrimp, and I asked for salsas on the side. The meats, as usual, were really flavorful, and the rice and guacamole was great as well. They also gave ample amounts of salsas! Even though I got delivery, I wasn't disappointed at all because the food felt like it just got prepared. Love it! It's fairly priced for the huge portions too; two people can share a super burrito and both be full, it's awesome! Highly recommend, this is probably the best Mexican food I've had in the states!

One of the best burritos I've ever had in California. I had the california burrito and it was huge!!! Had the best chicken and everything blended in so well. The fries were great inside and the place is a hidden gem in san Fran. I wish we would have a place this good in Sacramento because the burrito was authentic and had all the right ingredients to make it worth every bite. Price is reasonable especially for the size of the burritos. This is my new spot when im in town.
