Vegan! Deli sandwiches! I always get the tofu on sourdough because I’m not really into fake meats. But a recent bite of the hubby’s chicken steak on a dutch crunch roll may have made me a covert.
Super kind lady behind the counter. Adorable decor. Lovely location. Affordable. Would visit every day if I lived closer. Seriously love this place. Sooooooo many vegan friendly choices — and everything is super well labeled - always appreciated!

I walked in the place is empty sparsly decorated, with one lady behind the counter. Tibetan throat singing is playing in background. I'm overwhelmed by the vegan sandwich selection. And also vegan jerky and other treats. They also sell supplies to make you own.
Now my sandwich was roast duck on sourdough. It was really awesome. Golden bread, with that sourdough flavor combined with usual suspects of vegetables and vegan mayo mustard. I will be back
Oh and all under 8 most under 7.

Decent food, reasonable prices & friendly service. Please note that even though the menu says "Chicken, Duck" etc, this is a VEGAN restaurant.
I ordered the "Vege Smoked Duck" which again is Vegan.
Hard to miss with the "green" painted door at the entrance :)

Thank goodness for one of the only restaurants in the area to leave dead bodies of the menu. Defies the stereotype of expensive vegan/veggie food. Open till midnight! They get most of their veggie meat at Layonna vegetarian meat makers in Oakland. The best tasting meat imo are chicken steak and smoked duck. Old school SF vibe. The photo is one of the packaged snacks they offer.

I always feel good after I eat here and digest. Don’t get me wrong - I’m a girl who eats what tastes good - but at this place it tastes good and I feel good. FYI, I am a woman who knows how to analyze research and self-observations.
I like the duck and the pepper steak or pepper chicken. I haven’t tried everything yet. I usually get mine with a lettuce wrap as I am liking more gluten-free items. Either way, I don’t think one could go wrong.
It’s all meatless- but not the tofu-y weird tasteless something something that some vegan restaurants have.
This stuff is goooooooooood.
The owners are beautiful too.
