Tierra Mia Coffee

This magical place is where I first met my darling on a March rainy day in 2016. I had just ordered my Mexican Mocha frappe, as I was getting my card out to pay, the barista asked "anything else?" but in that very moment, he struggled to make his way through the front door whilst attempting to close his umbrella. We locked eyes and smiled nervously. This was the first time we saw each other.. IRL ;) I immediately asked him what he would like to drink in a panic, and he stuttered out a nervous "chocolate Mexicano please?" After paying our drinks, we finally looked at each other again and sighed out a calm "Hi.." :) We sat at the small leather couch together as we waited for our drinks. We finally calmed our nerves as we sipped our drinks and got through our getting to know yous as the butterflies kept twirling inside. Before we knew it, the baristas had to kindly let us know the cafe was closed for the day. We gathered our umbrellas, he held my hand as we walked out the door, and the rest was history.

Finally some decent Cafe con Leche. It may not have been Miami, but it was pretty close. The staff here was super cool. I would definitely come back in the future to get the Horchata Latte. Tierra Mia Coffee has a nice spacious cafe and the setup reminds me of a few places I've visited in South Florida in the college are by University of Miami. My only disappointment was that they didn't have many Cuban pastries - if they had some guava pastries or some Puerto Rican pastries then this place would be probably the best place I've been to. Still - major points for having a real Latin coffee and not some made up hipster stuff like most of SF.

Best cafécito shop everrrrrrr. Wish they would have it closer to home pero that’s only means I get to visit the city and photograph so even better. I had the horchata frappe and it was amazing! Little bro had the horchata latte with a warm chocolate croissant and he loved it. Def going again soon.☕️♥️

This spot has a unique selection of drinks with South American flair. My personal favorite is the Horchata Latte. The cubano is another popular option. The coffee quality is great as they source and roast their own beans. All the espresso is hand pulled from a Marzocco and they offer a variety of bean options for brewed, pour over and espresso coffees. Their snack selection is a little basic and small. That’s my only critique for an otherwise excellent coffee bar.
