Expensive for the amount of food you get, but some awesome dishes and great selection of alcohol/cocktails. A lot of people come here just for drinks by the bar.

The bottom line first - It's an enjoyable culinary experience, made with top-notch ingredients, with ups and downs along the way. More "ups" so worth a visit. Be prepared, this is not a cheap dinner.

The food is great there and the service is good even though they are new. The food style is Asian fusion and they don't have the traditional Japanese dishes. A little pricey but the quality is good.
One of my Favorites ~ Superb cocktails , great Japanese Whiskeys ... outstanding service , colorful audience , atmosphere —- and tasty cooking and set-apart dishes . Worth a try ;-)
The food was good! There’s a chicken with bread dish (forgot what the name is) which looks really good — definitely going back to check that out next time.

We actually really enjoyed this place. The location is a bit odd, as the Castro is not exactly known for its sophistication or refined restaurants, but the experience was excellent. We sat at the bar area, where they serve the same food as the rest of the restaurant, but you don't need a reservation
