I've missed Vive La Tarte since they left Howard St where I live right around the corner. I don't like the Noe Valley space as much but the breakfast sandwich, orange blossom zatar croissant, and turmeric latte are all still wonderful.

A nice place in the Castro for a quick and casual meal. We went for brunch, and got the “Breakfast Tacro” which is a breakfast taco, but the shell is a croissant shell. Very unique and tasteful but is only sold on the weekends. Also came with a nice sauce on the side. The only thing I would change would be less red onion. Some bites I found the onions overpowered the other tastes of the bacon, egg, avocado, etc. Regardless, I would go back to this place just for the tacro. The cold brew is also a solid choice. I will definitely be back for more tacro’s and to try a different type of coffee.
Total for two tacro’s and one cold brew was about $40

Vive La Tarte seems to be one of the few coffee shops with power outlets. They do not provide free WIFI though if you’re looking to work here. I do highly recommend you try their key lime croissant with thick creamy key lime filling. Superb!

Great spot for pasties and people watching. They use Sight Glass coffee beans, so their drip coffee is lovely. Almond croissant has just the right amount of everything!

I've only been once so far but can't wait to return. Organic wheat in the pastries, fabulous avocado toast (with pickle! and it was unexpectedly good), a great latte, and fantastic service. I'll definitely be back soon.

Classic croissant and other pastries 🥐 are actually good (I'm french), as long as you don't go for something too crazy. Sandwiches too. And lastly coffee was also good. It's a bit overpriced, but you're in Noe Valley so yeah... I haven't tried an actual Tarte yet. Place has a curbside terrace and a nice inside seating area
Give it a try if you're around.

(Cheesecake only)
My brother and sister-in-law got me this cheesecake for my birthday. The difference between a regular cheesecake and this one (probably the best I've ever had) is the difference between the squeaky mozzarella stick of your childhood and the freshest burrata in Italy. The inside is creamy and gooey-rich, the (praline?) crust is divine. Incredible.
