Warm little Russian tea room. Staff are friendly and warm. When you leave, you feel you're leaving members of your family. Food is very good and authentic. Prices are reasonable. Serves wine. Only drawback is parking can be difficult and needs valet service, but worth the hassle.

This restaurant is great! The food tastes as it tastes in Russia, I highly recommend to try Borsch first, because in Russia people eat soups first. A waiter is very polite and good person, I asked him is a chef- russian and he replied positive.

First time Russian food, it was pretty good. I stuck to a German similar beef stroganoff, except the use rice instead of the German noodle. Very tasty. The atmosphere is small and intimate, which is normally probably good, but when we were there a large family was the only other customers and their children were running around and being very loud and singing "Watch Me" by Silento. Whip! Nae Nae! Bop! Bop! Bop!

Delicious! We started with the Zakuski Tasting Platter - the salade olivier was nice and crunchy and creamy, the dill pickles were fresh and subtle, the marinated mushrooms were tangy, but the eggplant caviar was a little bland. The Borsch was hearty and warming, and didn't have the sometimes overwhelming earthy taste of fresh beets. The Sauteed Pel'meni was great - the dumplings had a nice little crust where they fried on the pan, and were filled with pleasantly dense little meatballs. The Ground Chicken Cutlet with Mushroom sauce was also great - crisply breaded on the outside and soft on the inside. For dessert we had the Blinchiki which were good - we were surprised & pleased that they weren't as sweet at most desserts tend to be.

I've known Katya my whole life as well as her daughter, and its not because of that that I say this place is great, it's because the food is exactly what Russians eat at home and because Katya will take time from serving to chat with you and make you feel welcome and a VIP. If you don't know what you should get just ask her, but there isn't anything there that isn't yummy. If in doubt or not feeling a dish, put some sour cream on it. That helps with everything in life usually.

Our group just finished a wonderful dinner. We ordered several appetizers, all of which were topnotch. Entrees were nearly as good, and all three of the desserts we ordered were among the best we have ever had.

For a taste of Russian home cooking, you can't do much better than Katia's. A small, cozy place in the middle of a residential area (with no dedicated parking, be warned), it serves up traditional Russian cuisine on white tablecloths. The ratio of food to price is rather small - for some reason much of Russian food, though rather easy to prepare - costs quite a lot -- but fair compared to other similar establishments in the ethnic enclaves of New York and Los Angeles. Best to go early Saturday evening, where the overpriced food will partially cover a live accordion session from a talented Belorussian, who will serenade you with classics like Ochi Chernie, or almost any other song of your choice.

This place is amazing from the service to the chef Katia. Very reasonable prices and nice ambiance. Very authentic Russian food. My new favorite restaurant! The dessert was even better!

Loved the food. The Lamb Sashilik and Napolean are awesome. Make sure to get in time, the place gets real crowded and you might get rushed to clear your table.

Some of the best Russian food you can have outside of a home cooked meal. Intimate atmosphere and pleasant staff.
