Oh man, best fried chicken and waffles in the city! I was struck and surprised at how good it was. The chicken was perfect, the gravy was an incredible touch, and the waffle so tasty and the perfect combination between soft and crunchy. I highly recommend getting brunch here! It's also in a great neighborhood.
Went there for Mother's Day brunch. The food, assortment of drinks (wine, cocktail, etc.) and friendly staff were a welcome surprise. Avocado toast with poached eggs and smoked char was my favorite; of course, my kids loved the donuts and baked goods. The music spot on as well. Looking forward to visiting again.
Opening weekend was great. Starters (tempura, lamb meatballs, pear salad) and cocktails (gimlet was my favorite) won the evening. Mains were a bit average but had good potential. Will be coming back!
The burger patty was the perfect texture, the whole thing absolutely melts in the mouth. The fries reminded me of In-N-Out's, perhaps with a heavier helping of salt. Service was warm, a nice contrast to the stark decor.
Cocktails are good and reasonably priced. They got rid of their dinner menu and it's more of a snack/pub fare type place.
Love the food, beers, and ambience! Beers were a little pricier than we expected but otherwise a great spot.
Top notch tacos, deliciously comforting tagine, and drinks that are second to none. Highly recommend the Bijou.

The brunch was excellent! I don't understand why there is no lineup on Sunday at 11am...
