Honestly, they have one of the worst service out of all the Chinese restaurants in the Bay Area (second only to yin du). The waitresses always look quite annoyed….However, the food is great and reasonably priced! And frankly, that’s what I care about the most.
I’d recommend just ordering the Cheung fun (rice noodles). I’d stay away from the shrimp ones though. The shrimps are not the best.. The non-Cheung-fun dishes are ok…

The food portion is good!
The service is as fast as they can do.
The Lady here is friendly and nice to us.
Recommend to order: garlic pepper shrimp & sweet and sour pork with rice
The food was fantastic. We orders the veggie beef crispy noodles, lemon citrusy chicken, and garlic chicken wings.
The prices were good and it all tasted excellent. It wasn’t very busy and the people coming in were mostly locals so you know it’s good.
Love the well meaning patrons who will sit at my table unannounced and smoke a cigarette without asking permission. I really do love the smell of second hand smoke. I love their location on Waverly street under the Chinese festoons and red lanterns!. Food is authentic street food that I experienced during my decade as expat in Asia. I go for vegetables and tofu over rice and oolong tea. Service is matter of fact , indifferent but never rude.
God knows how much I like this restaurant! We spent only $20.5 for two rice plates. Both are delicious and with huge serving size. Service was alright.
I have read the other reviews and seen YouTube videos—honestly no idea why people say the staff is rude. As a small, timid person I found the ladies to be super nice and service to be fast.
Had the BBQ pork flat rice noodle and minced pork porridge: absolutely delicious! So fresh and tender it was, broke as I held it between chopsticks and meat/sauce was delicious! Portions were even bigger than I expected.
Very interesting add on options: bitter melon on rice rolls! It tastes good, but there was a 1+1>2 combo. If you really like bitter melon, you can give it a try, otherwise just stick with the traditional options.
And you can get an iced lemon tea or milk tea for a dollar, a really good deal.
Decent and inexpensive Cantonese food. Loved the Fried Chicken Wings! The beef noodle soup had authentic soup base and was tasted. Courteous service. We came for the Chinese new year parade and thoroughly enjoyed this place.
Came here for lunch with a friend who had been here before. We ordered from the brunch menu even though it was past noon but the food was absolutely worth it! I'm not sure what the egg noodle dish was called but it was unique and unlike anything I'd had before - which is saying something! I would definitely order it again from here. The dumplings were also delicious but weren't the standout item of the meal. Overall a great experience and would come here again, but definitely not for an intimate dining experience since you share a table with others.
The rice noodles were phenomenal. The best in the area! Definitely worth a visit
