I think their service is great and five stars on its own. The food is very tasty but there was a miss in the execution that dented the experience. We went for brunch, I had the chilaquiles. The whole black beans on the plate were quite hard. The taste of the dish was perfect besides that.
Tuna Tostadas are an especially delicious amuse-bouche. Salads were fresh with amazing croutons. Their small bites were spectacular. The deviled eggs, tostada, and chicken liver mousse toast I recommend. Their wine list was great and affordably priced. Low ABV cocktails made by the bar manager at Al’s Place were inventive.
A hidden gem in the mission! Book ahead and enjoy the unique twist on dishes with a balance of vegetable and meat dishes. Crispy chicken and rice and tomato panzanella were standouts!
Markup on wine is VERY reasonable here. It comes out to around 2x retail (many places in the city are easily 3x retail).

The place decor is cool, the ambience friendly, the Benedict hollandaise eggs are awesome, the fried chicken malted waffle is okay.
This was the best meal I've had in a long time! It's rare that I feel the quality of food is justified by the high price, but this is one spot that I'll definitely return to for a truly delicious, valuable meal.
Wonderfully delicious menu items that change seasonally. All very well prepared dishes. I recently enjoyed the sweet potato and cauliflower tacos which were phenomenal. Looking forward to trying out the chicken sandwich. Really nice ambiance and incredibly attentive service. I highly recommend this
In a word, brilliant! This place is an undiscovered gem. They have quality food for non-SF prices. Their slow cooked beef tacos are delicious and the beef is moist and tender. Had such a nice date night here. The beef tacos were absolutely incredible! We also had the tostadas, asparagus, and broccoli. Everything was tasty and the woman who was taking care of us was the absolute sweetest! Definitely recommend this place! Such a nice neighborhood spot!
Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday as the menu looked super fresh. They surpassed all my expectations! Ingredients were super fresh and local, service on-point! Ambiance is relaxed and laid back. Our server, Joaquin was friendly and engaging.
