The food here was absolutely delicious! We loved everything we ordered, which included the crudo, deviled eggs, octopus, and lamb shank. The wine list has some very reasonably priced wines, which was also nice. The only downside was that the accustics were such that it was really hard to hear the
I think their service is great and five stars on its own. The food is very tasty but there was a miss in the execution that dented the experience. We went for brunch, I had the chilaquiles. The whole black beans on the plate were quite hard. The taste of the dish was perfect besides that.
Tuna Tostadas are an especially delicious amuse-bouche. Salads were fresh with amazing croutons. The porkchop was cooked perfectly. The staff is incredibly attentive, though their attentiveness can be a bit overwhelming. Water glasses are insufficient, barely larger than a shot glass, requiring FREQU
Their small bites were spectacular. The deviled eggs, tostada, and chicken liver mousse toast I recommend. Their wine list was great and affordably priced. Low ABV cocktails made by the bar manager at Al’s Place were inventive.
A hidden gem in the mission! Book ahead and enjoy the unique twist on dishes with a balance of vegetable and meat dishes. Crispy chicken and rice and tomato panzanella were standouts!
Markup on wine is VERY reasonable here. It comes out to around 2x retail (many places in the city are easily 3x retail). Food was great. I'd recommend everything we ate: the Tuna & Uni Tostadas, the Yellowtail collar, spanish octopus, wagyu tartare, and the burger. Bonus points on the burger and
We went as a group of 8 on a Monday night to celebrate my fiance's birthday. They were packed and the previous party at our table stayed about an hour longer than expected but they did everything possible to make us feel welcome! We got to sample basically everything on the appetizer menu free of ch
Early Sunday brunch. Great food, generous portions but not overwhelming. Beer and wine only so don't expect the full array of brunch cocktails. Worth doing for sure!
Now after my second visit for restaurant week 2020, I’d say the food was excellent and the wine pairing was on point. They have great knowledge of the wine and how it complements their food
If you’re looking to eat a delicious Lamb Burgers this is the place don’t miss out stop by and check it out. You will want more. The vibe is great.
The place decor is cool, the ambience friendly, the Benedict hollandaise eggs are awesome, the fried chicken malted waffle is okay.
This was the best meal I've had in a long time! It's rare that I feel the quality of food is justified by the high price, but this is one spot that I'll definitely return to for a truly delicious, valuable meal.
Wonderfully delicious menu items that change seasonally. All very well prepared dishes. I recently enjoyed the sweet potato and cauliflower tacos which were phenomenal. Looking forward to trying out the chicken sandwich. Really nice ambiance and incredibly attentive service. I highly recommend this
In a word, brilliant! This place is an undiscovered gem. They have quality food for non-SF prices. Their slow cooked beef tacos are delicious and the beef is moist and tender. The simplicity of the food belies it's taste profile. Definitely recommend the brussel sprouts or broccoli. Haven't had such
Had such a nice date night here. The beef tacos were absolutely incredible! We also had the tostadas, asparagus, and broccoli. Everything was tasty and the woman who was taking care of us was the absolute sweetest! Definitely recommend this place! Such a nice neighborhood spot!
Stopped in for brunch on a Saturday as the menu looked super fresh. They surpassed all my expectations! Ingredients were super fresh and local, service on-point! Ambiance is relaxed and laid back. Our server, Joaquin was friendly and engaging. I’ll be back.
Lovely place! Must have the bone marrow, so tender and delicious! Ask for the soft bread to soak it all up 😉 you can't go wrong here with the food. They don't have a full liquor licence so they make some nice aperitif "cocktails" though I'd recommend sticking with the wine. Really nice experience ov
We went for the Saturday brunch. Amazing! The best meal and service we had in our eight day trip in California. Deviled egg appetizer and my first experience with avocado toast. Exquisite, haven’t had any better...to die for. Dessert, salted Carmel chocolate chip cookie. All well worth the price (yo
The food is very inventive, original, and delicious. Their wine menu was good and diverse (plenty of domestic and foreign options), and conveniently divided into a set of descriptive section headings ranging from the lightest to the most full-bodied. The service during our dinner was very capable, p
