K-oz

I booked the whole side room here for an informal party during a conference. The K-Oz manager and staff were super flexible and accommodating. They reserved the space for us at no charge, didn't mind if way fewer or more attendees came than we estimated, and they dedicated a register and server just to our group. Plus, they were just nice dudes. The place is laid back and unpretentious--refreshing, for San Francisco. Great beer selection and good food at great prices, even veggie and GF options. After hours of searching and calling for a place to get some people together, I couldn't believe how much we lucked out here. I'll definitely be getting people together here again during the next conference.

It was late. I was hungry. She said the kitchen was closed. I don't know if I just looked pitiful or if she heard my stomach grumble. She said, "hang on," and dashed off. She came right back and said "what do you want to eat?" It was an act of kindness and mercy. The beer was cold the food was delicious. I highly recommend the place.

Been staying at the Best Western Americania Hotel for a few days now. I went down the first night and by the second night I went down for a drink the bartender, Shane, remembered me by name. Shane is super nice and jovial to all who come in and can provide excellent recommendations for beer lovers. All that said, the beer and drinks are fantastic! I’m normally a beer drinker, though the third night I asked Shane for a Bloody Mary and it was absolutely awesome! I come to San Francisco every few months and I can say for a certainty I’ll be back every time! Thank you for all the excellent service and hospitality, Shane!

I wasn't sure what to expect here. Groupon convinced me to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was tasty and filling. I was a little disappointed in the beer selection, since the place markets itself as a brewery. That's my only complaint, though. The staff were all friendly and the service was good.

Cool restaurant-bar serving both breakfast til 230pm and lunch/dinner food. They have hawaiian and some asian dishes, as well as more regular bar food like burgers. I had a katsu sandwich and loved it! Liked the sweet teriyaki sauce with the lemon-ish dressing of the coleslaw, it was very well balanced and very fulfilling. My dad had the burger, medium, with fries, and couldnt finish it either. They have many drinks and 4 screens, perfect to watch the world cup these days. They also have happy hour specials~
