Shrimp and pork dumplings(虾饺&烧卖)taste pretty decent. The crepe of the shrimp crepe (鲜虾肠)is pretty thick but the shrimps are nice. We also ordered a turnip cake which tasted oily. Both the turnip cake and the shrimp crepe came out cold :( otherwise the food here is better than what I expected.
For a hole in the wall .. great place for take out or sit down .. locals come around 10 Cuz that’s when the spare ribs over rice comes out ! Simply the best Har Gow & shrimp Cheung fun … why ? They’re generous with the shrimps .. a shrimp in every bite
We came here for lunch. We also had the sesame chicken. Sorry I didn’t get a picture. everything was amazing. The tea, the service was superb! I recommend 100% I wish I would have gotten our servers name he was amazing! I witnessed another customer being rude about some food , so I told him I would
The food is pretty good , they offer tea (this is common in all Chinatown) and you can pay by card. It’s not a fancy place but it’s full with locals and Chinese people so you know food is good.
Nice food. Chilli oil is good. Used to be cheap but Price increase quite a bit. Damn inflation. Very Friendly service. Chinatown neighbourhood place. Don't expect any fancy decor. Note to self for next time: Chilli oil is for sale at 7usd.
We visit this restaurant at least twice a week since we retired. It used to be my father's morning tea time place so he met us his friends. Lately, a couple of the new staff seem like day dreaming. We know the other lady that works there many years, she is the family member of the owner. We alwa
Another hidden gem that I came across deep into China Town in SF. The restaurant is small and outdated but don't be fooled. The food is outstanding! It is hard to communicate with someone but we managed by pointing to the items we wanted on the menu. I guess you can say it is very authentic since no
Nostalgia with traditional Cantonese Hong Kong atmosphere restaurant. 90% customers are seniors. Popular dish is mini-clay pot rice with pork ribs.
One of the best place to have Yam Cha. Food has remained unchanged since they've opened 30 years ago and the quality of the service is outstanding. The simplicity of the way they take care of their business and customers should be a standard for all business. They don't overcharge you because you
I would normally give this restaurant three stars because I was treated a little differently from all the other customers being Caucasian vs. Chinese; they didn't bring the cart to me and only brought to my tablet hose dim sum items I think they thought I would want to eat. I got a little look of s
My friend and I were full on the first 4 plates. Shrimp dumplings are a MUST. Tea is good. Service is fast and kind.
This place is no frills but delicious. If you are very particular about your diet or ingredients you may be frustrated. The menu gives little details on the dishes and the staff can’t explain due to language barrier. All of that said, the food was delicious and very inexpensive.
Average selection of dim sum dishes. Tasty and reasonably priced. Recommend the steamed rice dishes (pork ribs, chicken on rice, etc). Freshly prepared dishes constantly come out of the kitchen. The chilli sauce is great! Not the cleanest of places. (Hence the rating of less than 5 stars). Be prepar
Not alot of tourists come i saw the local came here alot. Food is very good
It is always a treat dining-in at Dol Ho. You get the full communal dim sum dining hall experience. Their single cart rarely comes out and you simply tell the waitress what you want. I prefer this because you don't get interrupted by the cart people asking if want something from their cart. The oth
Old school restaurant. Mostly older Chinese folks when we came in made us feel like a good spot! Authentic dim sum.
My childhood favorite Chinese dim sum restaurant. Get the pork sparerib over rice. It's the best in down.
