Ristorante Marcello - San Francisco - Photo album

Nice dinner, friendly staff, will be coming back. The veal's alright, the chicken very good, the linguine with clams very good, caprese was good, desert very good. Liked the ambience, old fashion.
If the rack of lamb is one of the specials, don't walk, run to Marcello's! Also notable are the escargot, shrimp-stuffed avocado, halibut and garlic bread. Come hungry, leave happy, and meet new friends over a martini at the bar whose back bar reminds you of the mantle of your favorite neighbor in y
The atmosphere! The service! The food! Marcello's is always a great experience.
Wow! Authentic! Marcelllo the owner, is nice and accommodating. Food is awesome. When you order dinner, it comes with soup anti pasta, and of course your main dish. My family goes there twice a month for the last 20 years. Love it.
Marcello’s is my favorite Italian restaurant in San Francisco. It is a family tradition to go there every year and it never disappoints. All of the servers and employees are always so kind and they make you want to keep coming back.
Friendly, helpful staff and the food was pretty good. I had the halibut and it was delicious. My wife had sauteed calamari which was gluten and dairy free. She said it was overcooked, however.
I grew up going to Marcello's. My dad and step mother used to take me to eat there when i was very young. The owner taught me how to use a fork and spoon to spin my spagetti so i could eat it without it falling all over the place. It had been years since i stopped in for a bite to eat. The food is s

I have been to this restaurant many times. If you think of the food and the value you get you will find the cooking is outstanding, the presentation is outstanding and the service is more than outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who would like a little Italian cuisine.
Veal Parmigiana was on point! Service was great!
We were advised to go here by an older Italian local sitting in front of gift shop at the fishermans warf. He told us the owner sits by the bar and greets all his customers. Marcello sat us down and is a very kind man. Our server Patrick was cool as a cucumber. I had never been to a place where one
if you like beer and bar food; this is your joint. they have a pretty extensive list of beer, and unique nom noms. I had a spicy chicken sausage sandwich with fried avocado, fried pickles and a sour ale. nice, casual space and very lively with a bar in the back. great for dinner with buddies!
Excellent night at Marcello's! Tony was our waiter and I believe her name is Liz, was our bartender, Irish lady (Martini's and Manhatten's). I had the lamb and my husband had veal. We had a phenomenal night, thank you so much!
A great place. Food is the best. Like the quiet clam & layout of the restaurant. Also very good service. Above expectations and I feel welcome. Feel like eating with family.
Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. I would recommend the dinner deluxe special it is worth the price considering everything that comes with it. Good service as well!
We went to dinner this week for my son's birthday. The Minestone Soup was delicious then the dinners were served and every dish was A+ Tony served dinner and he was Excellent. Marcello was greeting customers and he is from Lucca where my father-in-law Nido was born and all the Dal Porto's live toda
A hidden gem all the way in the outer sunset. I used to go here with my little Italian grandmother because it was one of her favorite spots when she was alive and lived out here — it feels exactly the same today. very authentic, and a classic vibe without any of the pretentious/trendy vibes of some
