Nice bar and amazing staff. Tony was above and beyond. We didn't have food since the kitchen was closed, but we would definitely come back. That watermelon 🍉 cocktail 🍸 was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended whenever you are in Marina district.

We were there with our new in-laws the day after the wedding as part of extending our celebration. We are all out of towners and someone found this through a search. What a find! First thing, don’t come to be stuffed full of bread before the meal. That will not happen. Instead you will be served whatever you order fairly quickly. Everyone enjoyed their choice of drink and food tremendously. I had the Pappardelle Funghi Salsiccia. It was excellent. Someone else had the capresse salad which was great. Another had the pasta bolognese. And the chef came out personally to check on this dish - he changed something with the prep and wanted to be sure our friend liked it. We really felt welcome here.

We had our wedding dinner here during the pandemic with a small group of friends and Mattia, made it absolutely special. He went above and beyond what we had requested. He decorated the tables with centerpieces and also printed out special menus for us. Every one of our friends loved everything they had ordered. More recently when we were in SF we went to have dinner here to celebrate our anniversary and we spoke to Mattia who was just as amazing as we remembered. He really cares about his customers. The food here is so delicious! Do not skip the bread as an appetizer, it's absolutely delicious. The service was so good, the waiter was super attentive and always made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this place for a good Italian meal!

True Italian food and my new favorite in Marina. Tried 3 pastas all very delicious. Octopus, burrata and mushroom pizza was amazing. Wine selection is very good and not so pricey. I loved the decorations and Italian staff.

It's second to none. The bartender June is a true gem, with an infectious personality and a wealth of knowledge about the menu. She's passionate about her craft and it shows in every drink she makes. Not to mention, her customer service skills are impeccable - she made our visit to Risto Bar a truly unforgettable experience. In short, if you're looking for a restaurant that has it all - fantastic food, amazing drinks, and exceptional service - Risto Bar is the place to be. And when you go, be sure to try the margherita pizza and say hello to June for me. You won't be disappointed.
