The location, staff, and food are all 5 star. I've been going here for 5+ years and each time I go, they never disappoint! The burritos, tacos, and nachos with asada are delicious. The desserts sell out quick so you have to go early. I love La Tortilla. It's saved my life many nights in the Castro. Haha!

This is a great little spot in the Castro. Their tortas are amazing, I'd recommend either the carnitas or the spicy chicken. The staff is very efficient and sweet. They also have more vegetarian options for burritos than other taquerias I have visited. If you're in the Castro, check La Tortilla out.

Delicious tacos and tamales. I always get take out because the lights are too bright and, like many SF restaurants, the door is wide open and it's just too cold to sit down and eat.

Absolutely amazing Mexican food! I come from Texas where there's never a shortage of delicious and authentic hispanic food, so I was expecting to be underwhelmed in San Francisco. However, La Tortilla exceeded my expectations! Very pleased with the food! There is also a bathroom in-store, but it's for customers only.
