Old Ship Saloon - San Francisco - Photo album

We needed a quick drink before we met up with friends in the area. This was a perfect stop. It’s off the beaten path as it’s on the edge of the financial district, North Beach and Telegraph Hill. We came on a Sunday afternoon and it was hopping. I used to come here quite a bit as I worked in the ar
Came here on our vacation on a Sunday afternoon. It was pretty quiet in this part of downtown and there was parking nearby. We were both pretty thirsty after exploring the city and stopped here. What a cool old building! This part of downtown sort of reminds me of the buildings of the Midwest; old b
Had the tuna melt with sweet potato fries, it was awesome. Great atmosphere and super friendly people coming in and out.
Beautiful historic bar with great food and drink. We stopped by early in the evening after visiting the Exploratorium and it was still very quiet and kid friendly.
Strong character, strong selection. The kind of bar restaurant you’d only find in San Francisco. Ample outdoor seating. Its location lends well to taking a stroll outside to the other sights and sounds of the FiDi, North Beach, the Embarcadero.
Really cool atmosphere and decor. I came here for Happy Hour and they had some great specials on fish and chips. Really great service too. Definitely planning on visiting again
I ordered the Old Fashioned and Negroni, and Fish & Chips - excellent bar service, casual, friendly old SF atmosphere, lots of locals and regulars. Drinks were solid - I asked about Campari, and Eric gave me a shot glass to taste it. Double-battered French fries, hot and fresh - breading was a littl
It was cool to visit a bar established in 1851. The atmosphere is historic yet modern and the cocktails were delicious. I loved how each drink has a fun fact about the bar and the area. The food was delicious but options were limited. The music was a mix of old school classics which I liked but it l
This is one of those places people come to eat, drink, hang out with friends, or watch the game. We grabbed an empty table and soon after, the waitress came by for our drink order and verified if we wanted to eat. She gave us the food menu and came back for our drink and food order in a bit. The m
Not much of any ship left. Serviceable hamburgers and an excellent soup lift it up. Never crowded. Flooring is artificial wood terribleness and works against everything. Staff is friendly and efficient.
San Francisco is so dead 🥲👈 but this place is an oasis in a desert. COVID definitely gutted San Francisco as this restaurant only had one guy manning the beer taps and serving people their food. He did a great job & the food was pretty tasty.
This place was amazing. The bartender made us feel comfortable and the drinks were reasonably priced. It's also one of the oldest Bars in San Francisco.
2021 review: Their patty melt and crispy double-fried fries were delicious. My friend got their chicken mole nachos, which were massive, and she liked them too. Friendly bartender service on top of all this = win. 2019 review: Came here for brunch and a drink. After the pancakes and Pimm's cup were
Great place to enjoy dinner while watching sports in SF! The food was very tasty and the service is great!! If you are around I highly recommend to pay a visit!
Went for lunch with family of 4. Food was excellent and service fantastic. Super friendly atmosphere and better option than the tourists spots on the pier. We had gone to ferry building the day before and Old Ship was better. Also, the bartender gave the kids a history lesson on the area and it’s na
Nice bar, friendly bar tenders
Good beer selection. Amazingly juicy and flavorful burger. Awesome atmosphere and friendly service.
I wander into the oldest pub in SF. Awesome people very friendly makes you feel right home. Lots of whiskeys and beer to choose from. Great food. Had great time watching the game and talking to my fellow patrons.
Food was great, big portions and delicious. I didn’t like you have to order from the bar and they still charged gratuity. No Apple Pay
