Very good restaurant. We liked the atmosphere and the professional service. Food is a little bit pricy, but the quality is very good.

No fancy molecular gastronomy surprises. Just good food with fresh ingredients. The mocktails were quite good also. The taxidermy was odd and out of place for a seafood heavy restaurant

We attended a wedding reception here, and the food was incredible. The service, including weight, staff and bartender were skilled and the atmosphere was festive.

Amazing restaurant that deserves more fame (although it has a well deserved Michelin star). Perfectly executed dishes, without fuss, modern and timeless at the same time. The whole sea bram, Parker rolls and the radicchio were flawless. The dishes are not “insta friendly” as in they are simple, presented in classic and classy China, it’s all about the produce in the best possible way. The service was great and what you would expect and it’s perfect for any occasion. I loved the wine selection as well and they have a yummy cocktail list. The room is beautiful with the wood, animals and views of the bay and bay bridge. Highly recommend !

Really liked this place. Good food, nice ambiance and friendly service. We had a table with a view of the bay bridge which was quite nice. The embered oysters and the sea bream was a highlight for me; the radicchio was very fun to eat as you need a big knife to cut it open and it was super good too. The potatoes, scallop crudo and hen of the woods mushroom were very nice but not outstanding. The sundae for dessert was super tasty but a tiny bit too heavy. Would totally return just for the embered oysters!

We visited the restaurant for the first time on my birthday, and it has quickly become my favorite SF Seafood Restaurant! The food is the star, as it should be. The caviar on banana bread with banana butter is probably my favorite. The Tea Punch is excellent. I indulged with 4 Scallops ( priced per scallop), and the flavors were phenomenal! We also ordered the Wagyu steak was cooked to perfection, tender, and delicious. It's the more pricey cut, but much less fatty. Even, the Parkerhouse Rolls are with seaweed butter are so good. The signature soft serve ice cream is a must-do, if you like salted caramel. If not, you may want to ask them to leave off the caramel and just indulge in the extra coco nibs ( ask for extra). Don't let me forget to mention the friendly and attentive staff, the beautiful bay views, and the inspiring open kitchen, all render it a definite destination spot in SF!

Indulge in a delightful seafood experience at this amazing place! The grilled scallops and lobster are particularly enticing, perfectly cooked with a light buttery flavor that is absolutely delicious. The grilled cabbage with garlic oil offers a uniquely delightful sweetness, and it's so good that you won't be able to resist eating more. Even if you're not a fan of potatoes, the grilled potatoes, sliced and served with a tangy creamy sauce, are an out-of-this-world delight. However, the grilled salmon was just average, as it was slightly overcooked for my preference, resulting in a dry texture. Another exceptional option is the raw fish and antelope tartare, which can be enjoyed with toast bread or fresh vegetables. The grilled beef and mushrooms were both excellent! The bread with specially prepared butter adds a lovely touch, even for those who don't typically consume much bread. Ending our meal with the chocolate salty peanut butter dessert something not to miss. To complement the meal, the great white and pinot noir wines are perfect choices. Lastly, the restaurant boasts a beautiful bay view and stunning decor, adding to the overall experience.

It’s hard to get really wowed by a meal in the age of social media hype, Eater Best lists and such, but WOW!!! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long, long time. Every course - from the oysters and amberjack sashimi to radicchio salad(!!🤪) to bass, trout and swordfish mains to the final sundae - exceeded expectations. Six of us with varying tastes and no one was disappointed. Service was impeccable. Morgan was patient with our wine indecision. Even the stemware and cutlery were first class & special. Warning: NOT cheap but I’ve spent more and been far less impressed. Treat yourselves. 👍🏽

Had been eagerly awaiting to visit (for my birthday) and wasn't disappointed. Food is superb, with some very original dishes like the tuna, lobster was cooked just right. Special mention for the unexpectedly decadent chocolate bar. Atmosphere and room with the open kitchen are perfect. Service was absolutely irreproachable, maybe the best I've had in recent memory. Only expected downside is that it gets pricey - $570 tip included for two with wine, cocktails, two starters, salad, two mains, sides, dessert - but if you stay away from the pricier items it's not outrageous either. Overall easy 5 stars and we'll surely be back.
