We had dinner at Brindisi last night and it was wonderful. Service is superb, the owner checked in with us several timest to make sure every detail was taken care of. The Market Salad was delicious, the entrees were were terrific-- lobster with tagliatelle, risotto with seafood-- and it was topped off with a spectacular dessert -- warm butter cake. From the name, we weren't convinced it was what we wanted but our server, who was excellent, recommended it and we tried it. The cake is light and fluffy, served with vanilla gelato, some whipped cream and raspberry sauce-- it was the perfect dessert, not too sweet, not too heavy, just a lovely ending to a great meal. Highly recommended restaurant. Intimate, cozy, with great food and wonderful service.

Exceptional service, presentation and authentically delicious Italian cuisine. Owners come from an authentically Italian family tradition of high caliber service, ingredients and an impressive menu. There is always something original as the chefs are apparentally geniuses here! I have never failed to be delighted! Owner Antonio is incredibly professional and an absolute delight!

I took my mom here at the end of the lunch time on Friday, the 5th of February. We had wonderful food here, and our server, Lisa, took great care of us. We ordered two starters from the seafood menu and she recommended a seafood rice dish to go with the seafood. We also had a glass of house white wine, and it was absolutely amazing.

We flew into San Fran for a day before heading to Napa , googled seafood/Italian restaurants Brindisi came up 1in 10 others I called them they were so polite we had to come in - the restaurant is first on a row thru an alley right outside of the financial district , I have to admit it was quieter then the other "chain like " spots. But we decided to take a chance ... AMAZING. AMAZING the food like you are in Italy , they hand make their pasta every day. We ordered Diablo shrimp veal and spicy meatballs and angel hair. Delicious The house wine was perfect and Antonio took such good care of us. Our only regret is that the people walking by didn't stop to experience what we were!! Don't second guess. Stop in and enjoy!

An outdoor dinner on this quaint little lane makes for a perfect intimate atmosphere. The overhead heat lamps give off plenty of heat for a leisurely-paced meal. Five stars for atmosphere. The bread and oil is delicious. The Caesar salad had a twist: corn--and it worked. Tried the Pappardelle Sausage ragout with mushrooms and pecorino cheese, which was delicious, but a bit too salty. Also had the margarita pizza which was decent. But I will always remember this as the place where I discovered Ommegang Three Philosophers beer. It's worth $9/bottle if you want to try the best Belgian ale around!

My boyfriend's parents made a reservation for us on a weeknight while they were visiting from Chicago, and this was my first experience eating on Belden Place. My previous knowledge led me to believe all the restaurants on Belden Place were French, however, it seems as if the Italians are taking over. We were seating under a heat lamp outside by a very courteous hostess. The parents order the Wild Black Bass and were very happy with their choice, both of them were very impressed with the quality and flavor. My boyfriend choice the house specialty, the Linguini Alla Scrigno, which was quite impressively served covered in a huge dome of crust, and cut into by the server, directly on the table. I chose the gnoochi as I do at many Italian restaurants and this one did not fail me. The gnoochi was light and fluffy, served in a creamy sauce with peas and mushrooms. Momma like!

Pleasantly surprised, and we will definitely be coming back soon. Happy hour oysters are $1ea and absolutely fresh and delicious. We've paid $3ea for lesser quality.

Great service from our waiter. The special was incredible - a seafood linguine topped with a pizza bread! Be sure to try the trio of breads as a starter, too.
