Oh what a wonderful find on Van Ness near the Symphony, SF Opera, and Nourse Theatre! From the friendly host to the awesome wait staff, to the succulent food! I booked this place because of location and photos of the dishes. It surpassed my expectations. The food was carefully prepared, artistically assembled, and delightfully delicious. And the staff was friendly, accommodating, even sweet (I told our waiter Ben that I loved him, and the waiter on the table next to us chimed in about feeling slighted ;-) Loved that they paid attention to every detail, took the time to describe the meals, and set a timely pace as we had to get to the Nourse Theatre by 7:30PM. Need I say that I highly recommend this place?

Came to this place after passing by many times and figured it was a good opportunity to come after a show at the SF Symphony. Seems like an interesting place that had a very open design yet very modern. Situated on the bottom floor of the building it seems like a very welcoming place. Came here during their Happy Hour and they were offering beer, wine, and mocktails for $5. Started off food with their Grüner wine and some appetizers before the main course. Thoughts on the Grüner wine. Never that type of wine, so it was enlightening to be able to try it. Being a White Wine, it’s flavor profile seems to be quite positive. Not as sweet as a Sav Blanc and a lot drier. Good for people who enjoy that type of thing, and recommend trying out once. The Monkey Bread. A pretty decadent of fluffy bread topped off with some baked cheese on the top with a light layer of basil aioli. The spicy meatballs were not as spicy as most people think. I would think the Tomato probably offset it, but it had a nice sweet sauce that would compliment the meatballs well. The croutons were crunchy soaked well in the tomato sauce. Panning the horizon for the flatbread, it ended up tasting alright with the different dips. Felt the flatbread wasn’t too tasty and the sauces were decent but not as impressive as I would have thought. Now to the entree. I ended up getting the Pan Roasted Salmon in medium rare compliment with cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, and walnut pesto. Thought that the charring on the vegetables gave an excellent effect that would compliment the salmon well. Salmon was very flavorful and did not seem overcooked. Bringing it together was the Walnut Pesto which provided a bit of a nutty yet a bit of an earthy sauce to the food. Overall I think it’s a good place to grab a decent meal which may be a little pricey. However, their happy hour provides a good value for beer and wine.

Popular place with a happy hour. Friendly welcome, but usually a wait time despite a handful of available tables around 6pm... Wines by the glass are limited but qualitative. Dishes are focused. Starters are a good portion to be a meal. Entrees are okay. I had the Salmon which was good, not the best I've had. Service is just OK, more like quick versus individualized attentive. Can accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies when you ask which is nice.

Came in for the first time today, and we loved it! They have exciting food, but we both had to get the Fried Chicken with gravy, a biscuit, and poached egg. It was delicious! I tried the salted caramel latte, which was enjoyable as well, but they have extensive alcohol selection which is really fun. They have both endless mimosas AND endless beer, which is virtually unheard of. We'll definitely be coming back here to try the prix fixe brunch!

Great location for a pre-theater dinner. Great cocktails and beer menu. We had the spicy meatballs and Yellowfin tuna crudo to start and the roasted chicken for our main. Everything was good and the service super friendly and timely to make sure we made it to our show in time.

I went here for a holiday party, the food was absolutely delicious. The service was wonderful, getting drinks as needed and silverware with each course. Would recommend for any occasion.

Decent restaurant for price quality & easy to make reservations to. I booked for Friday night prime time easily on Thursday. I think more people go to Corridor for the bar on the 1F than for a meal on the 2F. MUST GET: Monkey bread (delicious even after you reheat it at home), bolognese (also delicious after reheating at home) DON'T GET: corn risotto - it was just okay, didn't stand out. Felt like risotto and the chef just threw in some corn, the flavor didn't feel cohesive. But it wasn't bad.

Since its opening, we have been eyeing Corridor as a convenient place to dine before attending the symphony or theatre performances, but we haven’t been able to secure reservations in the desired 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM slot. On this night, however, we attended a late afternoon movie nearby that ended at 6:45 PM and were delighted to discover that Corridor had open slots at 7:00 PM. Dining is on two levels and we were given a table for view that had a great view of the first-level bar and Van Ness Avenue. We had two different young waiters, a woman and a man, and both were cheerful and helpful. I avoid most pork and the waitstaff was very proactive in asking about food sensitivities and in asking the chef not to include pork in the sauce that accompanied my seafood entrée. Corridor offers several artisanal beers on tap. My friend ordered “The Brewery Mischief” ($7), a kind of Belgian IPA. I had a sip of his beer and really liked it. I enjoy a little lemon in my Corona, so I decided to try their “Almanac Sour” ($10). And boy, was it ever sour! For our appetizer, we shared a tuna carpaccio ($19). For our mains, my dinner companion ordered the NY strip steak ($32) and I selected the sea bass ($27). Both dishes were excellent. As our dessert course, we split a chocolate mousse ($9). It was good but wasn’t particularly memorable. Given the location of Corridor in the recently renovated high-rent 100 Van Ness building, we anticipated that our restaurant bill would be outrageously high. That said, we left the restaurant feeling that the pricing structure was fair for the items we ordered, $70.50 per person including taxes and 20% gratuity. We’ll try Corridor again the next time we dine in the Civic Center neighborhood around 7 PM or thereafter.

Loved this place! Perfect lunch before heading over to the Orpheum to see Miss Saigon. Had a reservation and glad we did! They gave us a little token when we checked in and told us to head upstairs. Neat feeling and nice surprise! Our server was fantastic and super friendly. She bragged about what a great deal the lunch special was, soup & salad for $15. Was not a disappoint either. Had the Leek & Potato soup and a tasty Kale Salad. Good size portion of both!

Went for dinner on a Sunday night. Food was very good. Nice beer and wine selection, but they don't have a full bar. All the seating in the main area is hightop tables, and the chairs were a little cold. They seem to have an upstairs, but not sure if that is open for general seating. It was very empty when I went, which for me is a plus. Service and servers were very friendly.

They did an amazing job fitting us in before a show at the Orpheum. We called in advance to let them know we only had an hour to dine before a show and they took care of us right away, ensuring we got our drinks and food orders in. Excellent service and delicious food - scallops and carrot risotto!
