Best buddae jjigae (military stew) in the city🔥🚨🌶
Lovely service and great atmosphere! Thanks Dan, you're the best!
solid korean food in classic bar setting where they play kpop videos in the background. everything ranged from good to great, with the wings being the highlight. decently priced and on my rotation.
kimchi pancake: decently sized and tasty. good appetizer
chicken wings: both the spicy and soy garlic flavors were great. loved the crispiness and flavor.
cheese buldak: good dish but not too memorable.
creamy ttekbokki: would skip, prefer other ttekbokki style
the food was excellent and the vibes were solid. a little too much k-pop for my taste, but to each their own. soup base was delicious and all the servings are so huge you could share. i would say that they need to put photos of each dish on their menu — it’s an online menu so there’s no reason not to. unless you come from a korean background, you probably won’t know what most of the dishes are. would have liked to try something new and interesting, but couldn’t really get a gauge of what each menu item was so went with tried and true ramen (which i did love)
A wonderful Korean restaurant in the Tenderloin! I stopped by when it was a little empty, so the service was pretty fast and efficient. The ambience is chic, with dark, square tables and chairs and a stained wooden floor. They also have KPOP music videos projected on the right side of the room, which adds to its fun, nighttime vibe. I bought the shrimp fried rice omelet and it was absolutely delicious - the egg was fluffy and complemented the flavor of the rice and the shrimp very well. The sides they offered also helped add a variety of flavor, and their kimchi and tofu sides were my definite favorites. I'll definitely come around again. This was my first restaurant in SF and it set some high expectations! I got the kimchi fried rice and it was incredible. It’s very strong, so if you don’t like kimchi, i would recommend one of the ramen dishes instead. The side dishes were also very good. The server was knowledgeable and helpful.
A lot of restaurants close early-ish in SF so it was nice to find a place open at 9pm. Would definitely go back.
I got the chicken wings & they were just ok. I advise getting the sauce on the side. I won’t order them again. The pickled daikon was delicious. The veggie fried rice wasn’t good. I mean who puts corn in fried rice? Not a good flavor profile. I went in the early afternoon & it was empty. Great service, very friendly. I’ll definitely be back.
Foods were typically pricey but good... grilled short ribs could have been more tender... braised pork belly was tender... I liked the side dishes... will come again.
My husband and I ate here our first night of vacation and it did not disappoint. The best fried chicken wings I've ever had; so crispy and fresh. We had an order of the cheese corn (delicious) as well as shrimp fried rice. The shrimp fried rice had an egg over the top with ketchup, and all the flavors blended nicely. We also had Creamy Ttok Bok Ki for the first time and the sauce was amazing. Also ordered a pitcher (liter) of beer. Our bill, with tip, was under 80 dollars and we had leftovers as well. Highly recommend!
I was actually going to get Chipotle but happened to walk past this place. It looked interesting so I tried it. So glad I did! Service was very friendly and super fast. Place was very clean. I got the cold buckwheat noodles and they were the best I've ever had. And a huge portion too, the bowl seemed bottomless and I'm a big eater. Also came with 6 assorted side dishes. I'm so full and happy, thank you!
Very nice restaurant with good service, food taste good too! Interior is good design and clean!
Tofu stew only $15, not expensive
Great food, good atmosphere, nice service
Highly recommended. Best Korean food in sf!!!
