I can confidently say that the chicken sandwich at The Bird is absolutely great! If you've only experienced chicken sandwiches at places like Chick-fil-A, then you're about to meet the real chicken sandwich at the Bird. If you're in SF, trying it is a must!

The spicy sandwich is good but if you’re not used to eat spicy food it would be a lot for you.
Didn’t really like the fries with all the stuff the put on top they get soggy really fast

I’ve been coming here since 2018 and this place has remained the best spicy chicken sandwich in the city.
Both the tots and the fries make an excellent side to the chicken. The cole slaw and the pickles were also great. This place really doesn’t have a bad item on the menu.

The BEST chicken sandwich i’ve had in the city. The chicken was cooked to perfection, so tender and juicy 🤤 the curly fries were also great, perfectly seasoned. Love that you can order on a tablet and take your time with the menu. We came by midday for lunch while visiting the SFMOMA. Would recommend to anyone in the area!

The Bird is a good fried chicken place in downtown SF. Their menu is super simple with chicken and some sides. Everything is a pretty reasonable price, and tastes pretty good. I’m not really sure why the logo is a Fox (it’s cute) but I’m okay with that. Would definitely recommend stopping by if fried chicken is your thing and you want a quick bite.

Delicious, juicy, flavorful, and great filling portions. Best chicken sandwich in SF for sure. I had tots the first time and when I returned the following week I tried the curly fries. The spicy chicken has a kick but it's not too bad where it's tough to enjoy. The spicy is just at the right level.

It is a great place to go with your workmates and hang out. The food won't be the healthiest ever, but you will feel full after.
The dessert (APPLES FRITTERS) are a MUST. Extremely TASTY!

Great place for a chicken sandwich. The place is usually rather full and the seats tight, with little spacing, so takeout is preferred. The burger is super fresh and tasty. As a warning, spicy really means spicy. If you consider yourselves as a „I like a little spicy“ kinda person, you should avoid choosing the spicy chicken or sauce here. Also, eating the burger is quite a mess, even compared to other burgers, so bringing a date here might not be the ideal choice.

Love the fried chicken burger. It was juicy crispy crust, and sufficiently savoury. The added cucumber gave a zest to the burger. The beer was refreshing too. The vibes in the environment was good and so I enjoyed my meal very much. This is my second time here and will be back again!
