Philz Coffee - San Francisco - Photo album

Favorite coffee shop of SF. They've got such unique and bold flavors. Their snacks are great too!
Hot cocoa was light, but smooth. No powdery taste
As good as in SF, just with longer lines and less space! I wish it were more accommodating for people to stay and work or study, but the vibe is certainly excellent.
This is my absolute favorite coffee spot, with the Caviar app (or I believe they have their own now), you can order ahead and just pick-up your fresh, individualized coffee on your way. Usually the staff is friendly, done with the order early, and you are off. Today was an exception where they hadn'
I absolutely LOVE Philz. Their coffee is top notch. They do not do espresso so be aware of that. But if you are all about an amazing cup of Joe, this is the place to get it. As oppose to single origin they do blends, and have tasting notes, similar to what you experience when wine tasting. I always
There's not a lot of space to go around at this location, but it's worth the wait! They have more than a dozen different coffee varietals to choose from and - while I haven't tried all of them yet - I'd be willing to bet they're all great. The service is friendly and prompt, and you get the feeling
Wow, these guys really ARE laid back. Even looking my techie nerdy self, the staff gives off that friendly, down-to-earth vibe that I appreciate. Also, since it was my first time trying any Philz coffee they gave me my coffee for FREE. The coffee was great and with just enough sugar for my sweet-too
I went on a Saturday and the staff was super friendly. This location appears smaller than others in the city, but there is additional seating across the entryway.
A tad bit expensive for somebody who isn't too picky about their coffee. Philz offers a lot of the drip-style coffee which supposedly has a more nuanced flavor. To be honest, as long as I have some creamer and sugar, I think any coffee is delicious. I purchased the mocha, and it was decent if not a
The best coffee I have ever had. The only downside is that there is usually a line but, it's well worth the wait. I would love to take my laptop there and work but, the place is so small and usually full that it is impossible to do. Either way, the coffee is great!
Philz was one of the places a buddy took me to when I first moved into the city. He said "if you want real coffee in SF go to Philz." If I'd complain about anything with Philz it's that I wish they had more locations. But the Van Ness Shop is close enough to my place that when I get the urge I can
Literally the best coffee I have ever tasted! I had to brimg home a pound of freshly ground coffee. The coffees are so smooth and rich tasting...made one cup at a time. Philz is amazing! Go here once and you'll dread going back to all those major coffee houses!
The Mint Mojito Coffee truly lived up to the hype! I will definitely return when in SF. I hear they have a location in Los Angeles as well. I plan to check to it out. I noticed that the shop also had Jamaican Blue Mountain brewing. Very nice!
After scouring the streets of San Francisco I can safely say that this is my favorite coffee in the entire city (dare I say world). I have come a long way from the first day I went in here and tried to order an espresso drink. Even then the staff was kind and coached me through their slightly overwh
Van Ness is a very small place unlike the Philz in Castro and Mission. They share a space with a sandwich shop and if you want to sit, you sit in the sandwich shop. BTW, the sandwiches are delicious but they are $10 each. The coffee is excellent. It's just missing the ambiance of other Philz.
This place is fast becoming one of my favorite chain cafes simply because they put the emphasis on the product. Each continent is well represented in both coffees and teas. The staff are not on the hipster kick the way Blue Bottle is (at least not to that degree) and they actually have seating des
Without a doubt the best coffee in SF. They have a huge selection of beans, so don't be afraid to ask the staff for recommendations. In my experience, they always make good picks based on your tastes. Yes, it costs twice as much as Starbucks, but it's worth it.
I am not a coffee drinker. But Hubby ordered a Minto Mojito Iced Coffee and I figured I'd give it a try. I'm not crazy about mint, but oh my goodness! This drink was good!! It had the perfect balance of all the flavors and sweetness. While nothing was too strong or over whelming, all the layers real
Not much else to say besides that this place is bomb. I was completely impressed by my cup of Jacobs Wonderbar. This nutty coffee had a hit of Chocolate and was to die for! Sadly, I do not live close to this coffee shop because I would probably be there #1 customer. The line can be a little wait,
