Quality French restaurant not far from the performing arts area of the city. Modern ambiance with well prepared dishes. The potato croquette appetizer was not very good, under-seasoned and looked like it was not house-made. The butter lettuce salad was huge, easily enough for 2, but the baked brie was vary tasty. The flounder stuffed with spinach was excellent with a delicious sauce. The quail pie filling was really tasty as was the pie crust. The steak frites was a little disappointing, the steak was undercooked (sent it back) and the portion of fries was way too big. The steak tasted good though. Serving staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. Overall a good dining experience if a bit pricey.
The service was good; friendly and attentive staff. Our appetizers (sea scallops, bone marrow, and oysters) were tasty but not memorable. Our entrees (short ribs, steak frites, and duck) were fantastic - nothing left on our plates. We also enjoyed the chocolate souffle dessert with banana ice cream. The coffee was perfect. My bill for 3 people was $400.
We had a wonderful dining experience in Monsieur Benjamin. All the staffs are nice & attentive. We tried many appetizers without main dish & everything taste super yummy. Few things from our recommendation Crab Rillette Sea Scallop Steak Tartare Chicken Liver ( so smooth) Croquette We had lunch and it's almost full so reservation might be the best. 20% charge is already included. Overall it's a 5 stars experiences.
