Great ambience, great service and really great food! There isn’t a whole lot on the menu, but what we sampled (which was a lot) were all super delicious. Our server was the best and super attentive. Definitely recommend!
Got the Quail Scotch Eggs with Garlic Aioli, Short Ribs and Smoked Oyster Empanadas with Salsa Verde, Potted Crab with Olive Bread and Pan Con Tomate, Di Stefano Burrata, Heirloom Tomato and Shaved Asparagus with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Red Wine Vinegar
Green Goddess Salad, Pied Piper (wagyu) Burger, with garlic truffle fries!
The Pied Piper Lounge has a rich history within the iconic Palace Hotel, with an enormous 100+ year old painting gracing the venue and an incredible lounge area that is regal and timeless.
The food here is excellent and the drinks are great. I had the Pan Roasted Mary's Chicken Breast and the Green Goddess Refresher and I enjoyed them a lot. Definitely a place to drop by if you're in the area
The food pictured was fairly good. Local IPA washed it down well. Followed with Irish Coffee.
Located in the Palace Hotel and visited here while staying at the Ritz-Carlton Club on Market, which is right across the street. My experience began with Norman, the Doorman, who was extremly courteous and helpful. Such interesting history associated with the hotel and the Pied Piper Lounge. The painting, which also bears its name, is the focal point of the room. Service was excellent and drinks were well prepared and generous. You'll be treated to "Homemade Potato Chips" and assorted olives, both are soooo good!!!
Historic bar and restaurant. Located inside the Palace hotel. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful. They don't take reservations, luckily the line moves fast. We arrived around 7:30pm on a Sat night and only waited about 5min.We had the wings, Wagyu burger and cod. Wings were amazing. Both burger and cod are on the salty side. Even the pre-dinner chips were quite salty.
Great food
Excellent service
Wonderful atmosphere 😀
Nice cozy place for grabbing wine and having breakfast, lunch, and a nice dinner.
We tried chicken breast, cod fish, and the burger. They are all well made. It's definitely worth every penny.
If you like a little spicy and fish, then definitely recommend going for the cod fish.
For burger lovers, this burger is definitely going to be one of your best burgers, no doubt.
It's also a very good place for a glass of wine and friendly chat.
It's our neighborhood bar as it's the closest one. Cool Beaux Arts-ish vibe, good cocktails and vast beer and wine selection, small selection of upmarket renditions of bar food, good service. The eponymous painting behind the bar is huge and I have to check it out carefully every time, for reasons.
Fun bar at a classic San Francisco hotel, and their painting above the bar is what makes them famous. Wine list also isn't bad and their by-the-glass offerings, remarkably, are plenty decent enough.
Note that if you're driving in (as opposed to walking/taking a rideshare/whatever) that parking in the area is, like much of San Francisco, bloody expensive. The ambiance and their bit of fame are very appropriate but also a bit hard to justify if you're not already in the area.
Great food! They don’t accept reservations, so if you plan to dine there make sure you’re early to have a seats. They have functions ongoing during our stays in the hotel. So it’s crowded most of the time.
