Everything was delishous. The wings are the best ever. They are cash only.
Seems like everyone orders the chicken wings. We did also and they were great. The Curry Beef was awesome and the Egg Foo Yung reminded me of my younger days. Ha!
The chicken wings really are amazing. They were so crispy and juicy. I can't by myself for lunch and ordered the chicken wings and a bowl of soup. The bowl of soup was quite large and it was too much for one person. I wish they had an individual size.
One of the last things I wanted in San Francisco before leaving is good Chinese food. This place did not disappoint. We were seated right away and asked for our drink order, all the drinks were brought out quickly. We ordered 2 appetizers and those came out freshly made and really hot. As far as our meals go, all the food was great with no complaints from me or my family. The beef was so tender and flavorful in both of our beef dishes, Szechuan beef and broccoli beef chow mein. The orange chicken and the wonton noodle soup were also very good. Wish I lived in the area as good Chinese food is hard to come by in Colorado.
Ordered takeout here during vacation in San Francisco… We tried the General’s Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. Food was great, service was friendly and prices were reasonable -what more could I ask for!
Definitely worth stopping by if you are feeling hungry and in the Chinatown district.
Please do yourself a favor and come here and order these wings! I read all the reviews about these wings and decided to try them and we all loved them so much. They are perfectly crispy and savory and more importantly, super juicy and everything you want on a wing. I think for me, it was so good on its own that I didn’t feel the need to have a dip or anything, they are really that good. So good in fact, that my table ordered another plate of them halfway through our meal. The other dishes were great portions and delicious. The eggplant dish we ordered was also a great addition, and something new to me that I hadn’t had before. I honestly wish I lived close enough to have these wings every weekend…
Stopped for lunch. Lunch specials very good but alot of rice. Added shrimp wonton noodle soup and it was way better than the lunches. Would eat it every day it was so good. Busy place so hard to get attention, but once served we were very happy.
Menu is very easy to understand. Staff helpful. Hope to try other lunch items soon. Recommend for beginners who want to try restaurants in Chinatown.
The wings and hype of authentic flavorful best Chinese cuisine is real. Loved it here and great portion sizes too. To me no Chinese cuisine probably outside China tastes better than Chinese cuisine from Chinatown in San Francisco (maybe there are others), but Capital is among the best!
This place is legiiiiiiiit! I think it’s safe to say that my husband and I are on a quest to try every single restaurant in Chinatown. We randomly chose this and so glad we did!
Food was amazing. Freshly looked, well-seasoned, and great portions. We ordered the famous salt and pepper chicken, HK pan fried beef noodles, and Capital spareribs. Everything’s a hit!
The service is quick. The ladies are very nice and friendly too. I accidentally put sauce on my jacket and asked the lady for a napkin, and she offered water. #momvibes.
Restaurant is clean too. The crowd is quite diverse too, so that’s great.
All around EXCELLENT dining experience. I won't claim to be an expert in Cantonese food, but it seemed authentic. Tasted great with awesome service. The price was far below what I would have expected. I will come here again.
We have been researching restaurants for weeks prior to our arrival. I knew a meal at Chinatown was on our agenda..can't visit and not go there. So after doing a final search we came across Capital. It boasts about their Famous Fried Chicken Wings (flat portion only) which made my mouth water lol. So it was decided and we headed there. The hardest part was finding parking but once we did, it was smooth sailing. From the moment we entered we were pleasantly greeted. And the food was so good. There was nothing we didn't enjoy.
Beef w/ broccoli: The sauce is amazing and compliments the beef and perfectly. No need for additional sauce
Fried : So crispy and flavorful with a hint of spicy
Fried : Good but a bit bland until you dip it in their version of duck sauce which is addictive
House Special Fried : This was very good..Rice tasted fresh, light and fluffy. Really don't need much sauce if any. We added a hint of soy sauce and their sweet sauce.
Pros: Staff. Relaxed Atmosphere. Food. Credit Cards Accepted.
Cons: A bit cool inside so wear long sleeves. Parking is a challenge so Uber if possible or come early and search.
Wish I could’ve given them 6 stars.
Their service and hospitality is very amazing.
Their famous chicken wings are so yummy with their juicy, crunchy, and salty flavor along with jalapeños to add that spicy kick.
Their facilities are the cleanest I’ve ever seen.
Would strongly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to eat.
