The food is excellent ! As my first time eating Indian food, I am thrilled. The garlic naan was sheer perfection. And the restaurant is much cleaner and larger than it looks on the outside. The staff is very friendly too. Can’t sing their praises enough. Chefs kiss!
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Little Delhi restaurant with my family, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. We ordered a variety of dishes, including chicken chilly, chicken momos, biryani, curry, and naan, and I must say, everything exceeded our expectations.
The appetizers arrived promptly, and the chicken momos were a standout. They were incredibly juicy, and the filling was bursting with flavor. The accompanying sauce complemented the delicate momos perfectly. The chicken chilly had just the right amount of spice and was bursting with amazing flavors.
The naan we had was truly exceptional, among the best I've had in years. Soft, fluffy, and with a wonderful aroma, it was a perfect accompaniment to the luscious curry. The biryani was also a winner, perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection.
The overall dining experience at Little Delhi was fantastic. The ambiance created a warm and inviting vibe, and the staff were attentive and checked on us regularly to ensure our needs were met. We left with smiles on our faces and a plan to return soon. Little Delhi has certainly won our hearts, and we can't wait to savor their delicious offerings again. Highly recommended!
Amazing delectable food !! Samosas are big & yum, definitely try paneer chilli & paneer tandoori. Shrimp vindaloo was great as well. 5 stars !
This is a hidden gem in SF. Me and my wife came here for a Friday late dinner (btw we came all the way from east bay to try their food :)). They kept their expectation.
We ordered three dishes (veg noodles, paneer tikka and veggie steamed momo), and an arnold palmer drink. The veg noodles was exceptional, full of veggies, peanuts, peas, and chickpeas. The noodle was a bit oily but that is expected from an Indian noodle. Now for the paneer tikka, it was thinly sliced paneer , which made it very juicy, and the tikka dish had spinach, cucumber, bell pepper in it, which balance out this paneer rich dish. Now the veggie steam momo was fully stuffed with onion, spring onions , probably celery (not sure), and definitely paneer. Amazing.
One con: the location of this place, there was a big homeless crowd outside of this place, which can make general category of people a bit scared.
Butter chicken and Goat curry is a must try!!! So tender and full of flavor! Tandoori plater is great too, good portion and good balance with meat choice and vegetables. We also ordered Rasmalai as dessert to put an end note to this wonderful dinner. I’m very happy about the food we got here.
Authentic, generous portions, and great service.
This "humble" establishment is a joyful surprise for weary travelers.
आनंद लेना
Aanand lena!
Cool lighting, great service. Food was so good it made me mad. This is a hidden gem.
Had a great place eating at this restaurant. We reached 5 min before kitchen closing but they let us be seated and took our order. We ordered roti (bigger than most restaurants), vegetable malai kofta and vegetable biryani and raita. For dessert we ordered rasmalai.
We ordered medium spice level which was a little too hot for us so you might want to be conservative there if you don’t like spicy. Rest was all great!
The food was good and the staff was super patient and nice. All in all a great experience.
Best Gobi Manchurian ever! Cute restaurant on the smaller side but very busy and clean clean clean. That means fresh food, of course. Delicious food and attentive staff. Absolutely the best Indian food I’ve eaten. And I’ve tried plenty.
Clean plates thanks to a tasty lunch of chicken vindaloo and chicken tikka masala. Friendly staff. Some of the best Indian food we’ve eaten.
