$90 pp meal, and it blew me away. The mushroom curry was so flavorful. I also enjoyed the Tom Yum cocktail (like a gimlet) and the spicy beans. Everything was good and exceeded expectations. Fantastic service; they accommodated my partner’s shellfish allergy. The vibe is low key with minimal decor.
I stumbled onto this place because I was hungry and the restaurants I wanted 2 try had long wait lines. I'm happy I found it. I have no issues. It's not special but it has the feel of a 2nd rate restaurant that has been in the family for decades. The menu looks familiar so it was easy to order.
I don't normally leave reviews, but I was surprised this place had so many sub-5 star reviews, so I had to do something about it. If you're the type to read reviews, you'll know that a lot of ppl talk about the mushroom, the pork belly, and the beef tongue. No one really mentions the squash, which I
A very down to earth Michelin, there’s a set menu but you can also order a La cart. My highlights: Caramelized pork belly: this is so so good, it’s so soft the fat part melts in my mouth, and the meat part is also very tender. The dish tastes sweet and mixes super well with sticky rice. Bok choy: I
Normally we don’t go to hotel restaurants for lunch but this IS a Michelin star Thai restaurant. We ordered their pretty hot wings (3pc) and the five-spice duck noodle soup. The “pretty hot wings” were marinaded well but they were only hot in temperature. The duck noodle soup left much to be desired
Summary: go at least once, order at least the yaowaraj noodle and the massaman nuea, don’t get more food even if recommended (waiter will tell you you need more), you will be so full you won’t be able to eat it (assuming you are two people) haha I’ll kick it off by saying the food is really good bu
Terrific thai food with tons of interesting flavors and huge portions. Michelin food and very affordable non-Michelin prices. Nam Tok Beans and Caramelized pork belly were favorites. Sat at bar and ordered tasting menu. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.
Was visiting SF for work, and a few coworkers and I decided to check this place out! Our server, Will, was super attentive and helpful in answering our questions. We ordered: 1 Cha Yen 1 Blue Flower Limeade 1 Tom Yum 2.0 1 Lanna 1 Khao Kan Jin - this was blood sausage and I' be honest didn't look o
We walked in at 5.45pm (they open at 5.30pm) and were seated within minutes at the communal table. The bar was also available. The service was quick, food flavorful. They recently got a Michelin star. Highly recommend the vegetarian curry with mushroom.
We Really enjoyed our meals especially the squeed dish. It was very flavorful. I loved the drunken noodles dish a lot too. The dishes are great for family style dining. We were able get to in without the reservation on Saturday but we got lucky. I recommend too book ahead of time.
Tasty food, poor service from hostess. Michelin star is from the flavor, staff are nice aside from hostess (shorter haired woman yelling at patrons to line up like cattle) Drinks are good Best dish : mushroom hor mok
I came here with my family for my birthday/graduation and it was an expensive but extremely tasty and fulfilling experience. Would definitely go here again! My recommendations: The Caramelized pork belly and the Massaman Nuea (Braised beef cheek curry). Delicious!! I want to try more…🤤
1st time visiting and I was not sure what to expect based on other reviews, but I must say that the 1 Michellin star is what attracted me to it among other things. The al dente noodles and the broth were delicious. The mushroom custard was something I had never eaten before and although it was unusu
We sat at the bar on a Tuesday night. The service was cordial and efficient. The food was lovely. The squash in particular was remarkable, as were the beef cheeks and black rice pudding.
While there is a US20 deposit per person, it's not a restaurant to miss when you're in the Bay area. Across the 4 of us, we shared 3 appetisers, 2 starters and 2 desserts. I would probably have the crackers and try other appetisers. Our server was friendly and helpful. This is definitely another pl
Food and service were great, but it can get pretty loud. Drunken noodles had a really good flavor, but they're pretty spicy. If you can handle spice, they're a must have.
Connected to a hotel lobby near Market St, Kin Khao serves up a delicious profile of Thai flavors. The beans dish is a lettuce wrap (add rice to it!) that has a spicy kick. The pork belly is perfectly sauced and just melts. The drunken noodles have the perfect tangy spice. The waiters are top notch,
