Fior D'italia - San Francisco - Photo album

Every moment we spent on a Sunday afternoon at this historic restaurant was truly divine. We listened to fabulous (and well-seasoned) jazz musicians during our leisurely (3-hour) lunch. Our waiter Gil regaled us with tales about the origin of our bottle of Italian wine, as he served up a scrumptious
We researched a good restaurant in Little Italy in hopes to find something amazing AND WE DID! Not only does it claim to be the oldest Italian restaurant in the US it’s also amazing. We went with four of us and we all enjoyed what we had. While the restaurant was a little older, it added to the h
It was good… just not great. Server was nice. Manager was accommodating. Ambiance was worn and tired. Food is simple but fresh. We like to order several items to share at the table, but everything is so heavy and rich, we couldn’t find lighter or more vibrant dishes to balance it all out. The table
Had dinner with friends yesterday! Their fresh pasta were amazing the dry ones not that much. Service was a little slow for a calm Monday.
Flavorful food. Gnocchi softer than I am used to. Pumpkin ravioli exploded in my mouth 👄 this is supposedly the oldest Italian restaurant, but it was technically closed like 20 years ago, and the owners bought the branding of the oldest Italian restaurant so maybe that was a scam I didn’t really ca

Went to get dinner with the family. The atmosphere was really relaxing. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Ordered a bottle of wine, The Stag Cabernet Sauvignon Paso Robles 2019 which had a full and rich taste. The risotto alla milanese was delicious and good portion for one person.
I love the atmosphere of the place. Authentic, old Italian restaurant. Maybe I had bad luck that day and it might also been due to my choice of meal but my experience wasn't what I had hoped for. I had Bruscetta and Tortellini a la Panna. The dressing of the salad with the Bruscetta was too vinegary
friendliest staff, that remembers you even if it’s been months since your last visit. the food is top notch, everything made from scratch (except the bread which is purchased fresh each day and is delicious). literally cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! the vibe is old school Italian resta
Amazing restaurant that is well worth the visit. Super friendly and helpful staff, and the best pasta I have ever had.
Such a great experience dining here!!! We went because Atlas Obscura recommended it as the literal oldest continually running Italian restaurant in the entire United States. We had high expectations, after all, restaurants tend to have a pretty high turnover rate. We were not disappointed. Vibes wer
Wow just wow. I sat at the bar by myself and had dinner. I got the tri color plate which had three kinds of pasta on it. You could tell the pasta was made fresh - it was amazing. Small but decent beer selection and the bartender was friendly and attentive. It was a great place for a woman dining alo
Delicious food and quality products. The host was extremely friendly and the server polite. They seemed short staffed, having only two servers on in the main dining room. I gave 4 stars as the service was good but not great, likely because of the limited staff scheduled. I'd definitely go back for t
We had a great dinner at Fior d’Italia by chance, and we’re glad to have experienced this classic restaurant! With a party of 10 looking for a place to eat on a Friday night near Fisherman’s Wharf, the Fior d’Italia was able to accommodate our group at short notice and offered a great dining experi
The place was really amazing as well as the staff but it’s kind got a bar there and a game was going on so it was a bit loud with some tipsy people. Other than that me and my significant other were very fortunate to get there before the hot peak hours where there was a huge line to be seated. We got
Very nice spot to eat with friendly staff. The food was amazing. I had the escargot as an appetizer and lamb for dinner with a glass of Rosè. Everything was flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend if you’re in the area looking for a nice place to dine.
Amazing! Very tasty and delicious! Try the curry sauce with pasta, it is perfect!
One of the best ossobuco with polenta I have ever had. The home made pasta was also perfect.
