After eating the ice cream, we understand why it's so pricey. It was rich and delicious!! Best chocolate ice cream I ever had! Nice atmosphere, and friendly service. Can't wait to visit again!
Ordered the Hot Fudge Sundae. The cherry was tart and sweet. The ice cream was delicious with the fudge. Definitely scoop downward to get a bit of everything in one scoop. Good experience to share with a group, would not recommend one sundae per person unless you're feeling ambitious and hungry. Int
This was a cool spot to visit! I didn't get a chance to visit the actual Ghirardelli Square area, but there were plenty of chocolates out here. I ordered the caramel hot chocolate, which came with a caramel Ghirardelli square. It tasted great, but if you're not a fan of sweet drinks, I wouldn't get

My all time favorite place to go when in San Francisco. Delicious ice cream and better chocolate. This is for anyone with a major sweet tooth like me. Go here, you will not be disappointed.
This is the shop to order delectable sundaes and ice cream concoctions. They also have a gift shop on the side. Plenty of seating but we went on a busy Saturday night and had to wait for seats to become available. The employees were very polite. When my cousin wasn’t sure what she wanted, the clerk
The place was spotless and service was great. Went a little on the late side so there where no lines at all and service was quick. Displays were fully stacked. Few bar stools to sit inside along with a few tables. Saw the option to order online for pickup and delivery using third party app. The
Quality product with average service. Ice cream and chocolate is signature Ghirardelli quality. Mint chocolate chip ice cream is awesome. Service was slow and unhelpful. Server indicated they would provide a specific side item but completely ignored.
Other items are just accompaniments; the hot fudge sundae is a must-try dessert for San Francisco tourists. Don’t dig too deep with one scoop, as the bottom is dense, and the spoon might break.
This place is special. The experience is actually better than the ice cream quality, to be quite honest, but it's worth a stop...especially if you have young kids. It's quintessential San Francisco, and you can get lost in the flavors of chocolates and sundaes. Have fun!
