Darren's Cafe - San Francisco - Photo album

We are early morning risers and stayed at a hotel in Fisherman’s Wharf for a week vacation over Labor Day weekend. Darren’s was one of the only places that opened before 8 or 9 am (7:30). We ate there most mornings for breakfast and a few times there was a line of people prior to 7:30 and they ope
Came for breakfast. We had the American breakfast with two eggs, hash browns and muffin and a bagel egg sandwich with Swiss cheese and bacon. It was really good. Service was friendly and food was served very quick. Definitely a good place to have breakfast in the city.
This spot is absolutely AMAZING! This will absolutely be my go to for any time of day for a delicious meal. I stopped here before my flight out of SF and I do not regret it. I had the most delicious veggie pho. The staff was kind, friendly and attentive. This is a place where I can tell locals a
Had eggs with sausage, pancakes, fruit bowl and a coffee. The service was prompt and all the food was delicious with large portions. This is a solid breakfast spot in the area. Would come back again.
This is a find. Pictured is the English muffin sandwich with ham. It was the perfect sized breakfast for me, but they certainly have lots of choices for bigger appetites. The service is friendly attentive, and prompt. Excellent coffee, a bright dining spot. Prices are reasonable especially consid
We stayed at Fisherman’s Wharf along Beach Street. Overwhelmed by the selection available from East to West. For breakfast, we had Pho and Fried Rice, while the rest of us had typical stuff like hash, fried eggs and bacon. Portions were right, not killer American servings. Price was reasonable. Most
What a great surprise! Some in our group weren’t so sure by the outside but we decided to give it a try. The food was great and server was very friendly. Everyone gave their food 5 stars and said they would come back.
Could not recommend enough. The staff was incredibly friendly and fast. Honestly, if we stayed in the city longer we would have gone more than once. The food was incredible and has plenty of options for the whole family. We went for breakfast but did peek at the lunch and dinner menus and were tempt
Amazing breakfast place … we were bored of eating the same breakfast at the hotel, decided to give this place a try and boy we were not disappointed. They were busy but the kitchen and the staff was very efficient. Each table was getting equal attention and the coffee mugs were being filled just in
I was going to write a long treatise about how amazing my eggs Benedict was and how tasty the crunchy potatoes were, but then I decided to sum it all up in three words: NOM FREAKIN NOM NOM! OK that was four words 🤣
We went into Darren’s to try out the breakfast. Our breakfast sandwich and crab omelette were delicious. The breakfast potatoes were the best I have ever had…crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We found ourselves back the next day for lunch and ate every morsel of the chow mein and fried
If you find yourself looking for a breakfast/brunch spot, come here! My dad has been coming here for awhile and I was in town visiting him so we we went to grab some brunch. Located just a little ways from fisherman's wharf it's a quick walk to get here. Ambiance and service: We were greeted by Da
Delicious find close to our hotel (Hyatt Centric). We had great coffee and a fantastic breakfast while visiting San Francisco. The adults had Crab Benedict (highly recommend this seasonal item) and the Bagel Sandwich. Our son had eggs and toast, and our daughter was thrilled to be able to get lun
great place! the blueberry pancakes were great. bigger than i expected so i probably should’ve ordered just two instead of three, but my dad helped finish the third lol. great breakfast place. my dad enjoyed the coffee, too.
Darren’s Café was so delicious and loved being able to get breakfast or lunch. The BBQ Chicken Pho was amazing for brunch. With kids in tow this place had something for everyone! The waiter was super friendly and we felt so at home. My only suggestion is for bigger napkins.
Our favorite breakfast spot! The food is delicious, has good portions, and is reasonable. The staff is friendly and efficient. They are close to the pier. They also serve pho, noodles, fried rice, etc... Please give them a shot. You won't be disappointed!
Their Veggi Eggs Benedict with hash brown is delicious 😋 . They are very generous with coffee ☕️. Loved the dine in experience
Fantastic small diner! I wish I could give a lot more than 5 stars for ALL of the staff! EVERY single employee did kind things without us asking, cooked our special request meals perfectly, and made our morning bright. Thank you, Darren's, for all of the above!
