It was enjoyable and swanky. The food was delightfully satisfying. The greeters gave us a bit of attitude at the door: as if we were not quite cool enough to be there. Live music was a really nice touch to the elegantly decorated restaurant. I’d go back.

Dinner was fantastic- diverse menu with flavorful options. Good wine recommendations and the server was very attentive. Sat in the second story balcony and it was a great view of the restaurant. A great place for a special occasion.

Awesome place to sit at the bar, have some drinks and order some snacks. They give you a little bowl of Chex mix which is nice. Their rolls are really good and so is just about everything on their menu. If it’s a hot day out, they have A/C so it’s the perfect place to cool off. Also their steak is one of my favorites.

Just had dessert and an after dinner drink. We sat in the alley, as we didn't have a reservation, and that was the only place available. It was on the hottest day of the year (91 degrees on 10/6/23) so we were happy to have the fresh air. The olive oil cake was delicious and we ordered a side of vanilla ice cream, and we were in heaven. And the service was top notch. Everyone was professional and kind. One day we'll make it inside for a whole meal.

Lovely establishment with a long history. If you want to have conversations, sit upstairs bc the band is downstairs and it can be loud. The bar is always packed so good luck finding a seat.
Cocktails are delicious.
I ordered the chicken hash, which was interesting....the flavor was good but I wouldn't order it again. There's a lot of seafood on the menu which I'm allergic to so my options are limited.

Impecable! A must when in S Fco. Located on an alley off of Montgomery away from the 'beaten path'. Staff is attentive, courteous, and friendly. A magnificent setting with ample seating and live piano playing on Saturday. The lobster spaghetti and the NY steak are both plentiful and flavorful. Save room for the chocolate bread pudding or the daily sorbets. A short ride from Union Square. Highly recommended

Consistently excellent service and great food. The menu isn't huge, but I've never had a bad dish. The atmosphere is fantastic - off an alley with jazz age vibes, the bar alone is worth a stop (and don't skip the Bix mix).
Cannot recommend this spot enough - great for a birthday dinner, out of town guests, or just wanting to feel a little extra special (without being too fussy).

We couldn't find a place open late close to our hotel, so we ended up here and I am so glad we choose this place. Amazing atmopshere, amazing food, just a wonderful wonderful experience. 10 out 10, this is a place we will be coming back. Try the olive oil cake!

Great classy place. Top of the line service and presentation. I dined here with a great group of friends on July 23, 2024, and I had a great time. Everything from wine to food was delicious. My favorite was the grilled salmon. Absolutely cooked to perfection. I can honestly say the best salmon I had over my entire life. I highly recommend it.
