Scoma’s was fabulous!! The wine we chose was excellent. We had the fried anchovies, beet salad, crab cake, wild black cod & pasta diplomatica. Everything was excellent. Service was fast, attentive & very helpful. We’re here 3 more days & I wont be surprised if we return.

This restaurant is a must for me when in San Francisco. I have been frequenting this solid seafood restaurant for over 40 years. It’s a must and normally I get the Dungeness crab cocktail with Louie sauce and the Cioppino. It’s one of the cities best. Great servers, Gus is one of my favorites there
You feel the age and you pay the reputation. The seafood products were terrific (best shrimps I've eaten for a long time), but the cooking was basic, for instance shrimp salads are...a few shrimps on top of a raw supermarket-like lettuce.

Both dishes we tried were great! All the seafood was cooked just right.
The only regret we had was that we couldn't try more dishes and sweets here as we were too full from all day eating in SF.
Overall very fresh seafood. We ordered a variety of dishes and we're pleased with all of them. We had the dungeness crab, shrimp cocktail, cioppino, clam chowder and heirloom tomato salad.
Wonderful food and old seafood house experience. Hidden gem in the wharf! If you have time to go, I highly recommend it! Had the king salmon, and it was cooked to perfection! The harbor views complete the setting nicely! 👌
