Amazing! We had an absolutely wonderful time here last night! We had the chefs table out back and I can’t complain about a single thing! We have paid more in San Fran for believe average food and this place hit the mark every time! The service was great, the food was amazing and we had such a wonderful time! I would definitely come back here and would happily pay more!

A great overall dining experience at Octavia. We shared everything. Highlights were the steak 🥩 that was grilled perfectly. Medium on the ends and medium rare in the middle to give us options. The noise level wasn't too loud even though the restaurant was full. The cod had a nice crunchy char crust, but was very moist inside. Service was friendly and helpful.

Last night, I had the privilege of dining at Octavia, and the experience was truly exceptional. The restaurant's ambience strikes a perfect balance between classiness and homeliness. The staff went above and beyond, treating us like royalty and catering to our every need with attentive care. They were knowledgeable and gladly answered any questions we had. The wine pairings were spot-on and complemented everything we ordered. However, the true highlight was the food itself. We savored the delectable bluefin tuna carpaccio, mouthwatering caramelle, rich Brentwood corn lasagna, and fresh fettuccine. Among them, the lasagna stole the show with its vibrant colors and comforting flavors, reminiscent of a well-done elevated version of Thanksgiving corn casserole. The pastas were simply out of this world, bursting with delightful flavors that left us wanting more after every bite. It was a bit sad when they were all gone, but it only served to show how much we enjoyed them. The desserts provided an incredible ending to the night. We relished the watermelon sorbet, heavenly brown butter friand, decadent cocoa chiffon cake, and luscious fresh berries. The friand was particularly impeccable, and its taste was indescribably good. In conclusion, I was deeply impressed by everything we experienced at Octavia. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone to spend an evening here and savor the greatness of this extraordinary dining experience.

Exquisite cuisine served with passionate and capable staff. The menu feels like it is customised daily (I forgot to ask) and the waiters were able to elaborate and articulate the flavours. Flavours were delicate and could tease the taste buds to make you go “ah”. I’ll definitely be back if I’m ever in SF again.

New menu printed daily. This place might be easily missed as it locates in a quite neighborhood. But everything was exceptional! A great location for date night in downtown San Francisco. Great wine pairing with entrees. We started out with the house made sourdough, then the tagliatelle, and cannelloni. And also shared the lamb. All were exceptional! Definitely would come back.
